#349125 Youth Group Nerf Event

Make sure that you make teams based upon what blasters people have and what sort of mods they have, and that the youth pastor is not a dick. When I was in a youth group, we had a nerf war, and the pastor was painfully obliterated by a bunch of darts. After that, we never had one again, because he didn't like losing.

Story:
Spoiler

The Nerf War was right at the beginning of the Elite era, back when N-Strike still reigned supreme. Most of the people used relatively crappy blasters like the Dart Tag Furyfire (I'm talking about you, Chlobo!) or the Maverick. Now, these might have been good in their era, but the age of direct plungers and flywheels had already dawned. The youth pastor had the best loadout on his team, twin Barricades.

On our team, I had a Stampede, Nico had twin Rayvens, Ageless Dash had a Retaliator, Karate Duo1 had an overvolted Vulcan, and assorted other nerds with assorted other awesome blasters.

How were teams divided up? The youth pastor said "If you want the 49'ers to win the Super Bowl, you're on my team," and got quite mostly jocks who had grabbed their old shitty blasters from the donation pile. On the other team were a few jocks, but mostly nerds who might have had a total of two or three air restrictors in the whole team.

They resorted to Banzai charges with their weak blasters, which we fended off with volleys of rapid fire. Then, we advanced down the hallway, creating a wall of darts. We squeezed our way into their spawning room, and began the extermination.

Moral of the story: Never divide up teams for a Nerf War along the "jocks vs nerds" line; you'll have an extermination of the jocks by the nerds.

Gonna show this to all my friends because of how you sued nerds and jocks and how we always sit together at lunch and call ourselves the nerd table and sometimes the illuminerdy

Yes, but if you go through the trouble of making a kit at least sell pre made ones too. Just my thoughts.

Yea I guess hey maybe i could make kits and sell them on here for like snapbows but I am only a kid so that isn't really a thing but if someone does make a kit for pcsr I'll get it so I can make some for my friends for their bdays

Why isn't there homemade kits where you get the materials instructions for like a rainbow or eslt and a few resources to make darts and if there are please tell me the link I know of the crazy ghost but they are all sold out ;-;

I'm buying a pcsr when it comes out already and a pull back would never be used by me because none of my friends or me use pullbacks and I actually have been working on a design for a single hopper shotgun but still as a kid my father and mother are not willing to drive everywhere and order a hundred springs from a website or buy a 3D printer so if maybe I could just buy the stuff from someone to make a gun I would do that but it would be a good idea to maybe personally buy the parts just in a box maybe not like a kit but the materials not counting screws and epoxy and lubricant

Yea but I don't have access to any 3D printers large enough for an eslt or pcsr and finding the right size is a pain maybe not instructions but still it would be nice to get new home made makers into the hobby. I personally have never made a working homemade and if there was a kit for like an eslt I would get it because I do not have access to a lot of stuff for a homemade because I am a child. Kits could get new makers into the hobby.

That is a nerf lightup football. It is marketed to be great to play with during the night. I would imagine it can be used as a normal ball too.

The only difference is dye soaks in. In my experience coat is just fine.

In a reverse plunger the airflow is directed into the plunger rod which is facing backwards. The breach is the plunger rod where the seal is formed at the end. The plunger tude is then what holds the spring load so when you press the trigger instead of the plunger rod moving up the plunger tube does. Now the problem with reverse plungers is since it is using an oring it does not allow for the use of a larger plunger tube this was a problem with the older models. Now the pnly reason the mega centurion is using one in my mind because hasbro doesn't want it hurting small children as it is pretty powerful for a stock blaster already.

No offense but you obviously have seen the mtb rhino motors so you did a small amount of research but really not enough.(asking people on this forum not to be harsh is like screaming at them saying ROAST ME) But look at the voltage they run on and you are getting around 13 volts yet they are rated for 12. It isnt that much of a difference in fact those are the motors you should get. Not hard of a question but you would be better off messaging someone who would know like poster of the "Which is the best motor after extensive testing" thread.

Hey guys, so I have replaced the motors with Tamiya Hyper Dash 2 with the following specs:

Voltage(V) - 2.4-3.0
Torque (nM-m) - 1.5-2.0
RPM(r/min) - 12000-14300
Current (A) - 1.3-1.7

Motor is noisy as hell and there are burnt smells coming out of it. I am using regular Energizer batteries, so whenever I took a shot. The motor will slow down so I can't do any rapid fire with it. Anyway to improve the ROF? Should I invest in Trustfires?

You are either burning out the motors or you have to increase voltage with either trust fires or find a schematic to make 2 nine volts to an 18 v
Edit- also remove the resister and really no voltage upgrade with tamiya hyper dash 2 motors is a waste sorry if it sounds mean but get the most out of your money dude
