The springs you have go with the orange parts that are there none of which prohibit function. One is a tac rail piece and the other two are for barrel attachments so I don't know how they function on the vulcan.

My best guess is that you might not have lined up the plunger system right. If you could take a picture of the plunger systems setup that could help.

I actually didn't change, or even unscrew, anything involving the plunger system. But here's a photo anyway.

You most likely removed the catch spring by accident (one of the two thinner and wider springs in your picture). It goes right beneath the on/off switch on the catch. Also make sure that you have screwed in all the screws on the internals shell piece before you put the outer shell on.

Are you referring to the spring that goes under the switch in the square hole just above the screw in this photo? If so, that spring is definitely still there. (new switch by the way)

Taking the pole out would be the best choice. If you don't use Stefans you can still remove the pole and the dart would still fit in...

I guess I wasn't as clear as I thought.

I'm not worried about the darts fitting in if I leave the pole. I'm just wondering if I can still get a noticeable range increase if I leave the pole in.
