Sorry but this excuse of a "mod" is totally useless. Ranges aren't practical for any type of shot. As Talio said, this would only work if you were on top of the enemy. A mod with the same use, but of much better performance is the scatter barrel, not to mention it looks bad too (not that I care, but not functional AND ugly? Come on...) In conclusion, if you want scatter fire that much, make a good scatter-shot barrel.
