I may have plugged the pump a while back, I'm not sure. The reason I stop at three is because with anything higher, the pressure on the valve is too strong for the trigger to open it. The plastic just bends, even with the metal. In a day or two I might open it back up to check the pump and remake the trigger. As for ranges, I actually do have a nice long hallway with tile in it, easy to measure, just haven't done it yet.

P.E.S.U., another local nerfer, had made a comment about how most people just duct tape the pumps to the bottom. I didn't like how flimsy that sounded so I went with this. It's very stable and the shell around the opening keeps the rod straight. Also, the handle from the at3k is only attached at one point, so it can tilt (forward or backward) to accommodate different grip styles.

I'd say around 2 or 3 hours tops, I worked on it off and on and didn't really keep track of time. Most of it was doing a little modification or cut, fitting a piece, repeat. That probably took most of the time.

How well did the hovercraft work? I'm building one now, all I need to do is finish up the propulsion, the lift works. I still need to get it balanced, though, the front creates some drag. And boltsniper, how much did the battery cost? The plane looks sweet.
