The only problem I see with the Sidewinder X3 is that the side buttons are quite inconvenient...
I was thinking either the Logitech MX518 or the Razer Deathadder. Even though they're quite a bit more, they're suited to what I need, however I don't know which one to get as they are both reasonably good mice. Any other suggestions?

Probably going to get a gaming mouse soon. I really need some suggestions as I like too many of them. Also, will all those flashy mice with LEDs and crap work on laptops? Don't know whether my USB ports on this laptop are powered or not. Thanks.

Well, the new laptop I'm getting has an AMD Phenom Quad Core and an ATi Mobility Radeon HD 5650 1GB DDR3 with switchable graphics and that will be able to max games out at 768p (native res is 1366 x 768) for at least a few years. Right now, ATi has the advantage with the HD5xxx series but with the lower-ended nVidia Fermi/4xx cards coming out nVidia will probably start selling more cards.

Still does not make sense to me. Make a video please. And why do you need such a large slot?

A HD 5670 is $90 BTW, my friend just built a rig. However the ATI HD 4870 is better than a GTX260. And that one is half the price of a GTX260...But I would argue that with the right rig, you would pull better performance out of a single $200 card then 2 $100 cards. I mean, I play Bad Company 2 online with maxed out settings, and I am running a single GTX260Even though 5670's aren't the best cards, they're pretty good for the price if you buy 'em on Newegg. They can play most games maxed on 720p and have DX11 but since the GTX260, 280, 285, and Fermi have better performance, they're priced a lot higher and people may not want to pay like $200+ for a card.
