My new Big Bad Bow. The stock is very comfortable and stable. And no pesky glue! This screw holds the stock on: Despite its small size, the screw seems to hold everything together nicely.
I read the writeup for these and hunted down the N-Strike six-pack at a Toys-R-Us. On this one I added a 2.5" cpvc barrel extension, removed the air restrictor, and stretched the stock spring. I also cut off the 1.5" of dead space off the plunger tube to compensate for the added barrel length. Here it is primed:
Since my stock tommy wouldn't fire nerf tag darts, I used a band saw to cut a chunk off the area which covers the rear of the flywheels. Now, dart tag darts can be used with my tommy, and it also jams a bit less.
Well, I scrapped this one, and will work on another to replace it due to:
-no seal at all
-bad milling
-too big to be practical
-closing the bolt is a hassle
-will sometimes jam
-overall crappy quality
However, this model is not a failure, but a proof of concept.
