I would go for a stryfe with the dart lock removed,pretty easy to use.

Strongarms are good for loaning too. I don't think I've seen one permanently jammed. 
This thread is a bit old but why not,

strongarms ain't hard to jam,if you go just a little bit to fast it jams

I was also wondering if there is a way to calculate how much dead space you can have with your plungertube, if you know the volume of the plunger tube,wich you can calculate with pi ( π ), then there has to be a som to calculate the amount of dead space you can have for a good shot.
