Hey all
We seem to be getting quite a lot of server problems lately... it appears to be getting worse.
"500 Internal Server Error" - I'm sure you've all seen that one quite a bit lately. Plus the forum tends to be fairly slow sometimes.
Many double posts lately, too.
(just remember that if you get a server error when submitting a new post, check the forum or topic to see if your post has been submitted correctly, and 90% of the time you'll find that the post is there despite the error)
There are quite a few people that use this forum, and web hosting really is very cheap.
Perhaps we could open a small donation to the webmaster of the site to get some better hosting?
Just an idea...
-EDIT-
Ah, perfect example. I posted this, and received an Internal Server Error.
Checked the forum (took about 4 minutes just to get the page to load), and the thread had been created - but there was no post.
So I've had to reply (that's what this post is), and lucky for me I copied the original post to the clipboard.

Airsoft In Australia
12 February 2009 - 12:57 AM
Hi all
As many of you know, Airsoft is illegal in Australia - and as most of you would agree, this fact flat-out sucks.
Can I encourage everyone in the country to help make it legal?
There's an organisation called Airsoft Australia, rn by John C. Hanlon.
This is our best bet at getting the sport legalised.
Please join up to the forum and help create enough momentum to make this happen!

Thanks everyone!

Nerf Gun Database
11 February 2009 - 07:20 AM
Hey guys
I'm thinking of starting a new project... a Nerf Gun Database.
It would contain information, reviews, comments, mods and pictures for every Nerf (and non-Nerf) gun.
Things I would need from you:
a) an idea of whether this is a good and useful tool or not
b) help to actualy populate the database (given I don't own all the guns, etc.)
What do you think?
It'd be completely web-based, free to use, etc.
Other websites that come to mind...
Nerf Center
http://www.nerfcenter.com/
- heavily out of date, but a good resource nonetheless
Orange's Nerf Page
http://www.freewebs.com/superorange/
- up to date, but only contains pictures
- might ask/beg to use some of the pictures for the database (giving credit to their source)
NerfWiki
http://www.nerfhq.co...le=Blaster_List
- up to date, but limited in terms of content
- limited pictures, but good potential if it were expanded upon
- doesn't contain non-nerf blasters (like the Koosh Vortex range)

Australian Nerf Wars
11 February 2009 - 06:01 AM
Well, I haven't heard of any Nerf wars in AUstralia in ages, so I thought it'd be good if we could get something going.
If you're an Aussie interested in Nerfing, to to Oz Nerf - the local forum.
Otherwise we might clog up Nerf Haven with all our posts!
http://oznerf.forumotion.com/
Hopefully we can get some wars going - and also trade some items, etc.
Anyone interested in a war? :)

Koosh Tordano, X2, Firestorm
10 February 2009 - 06:07 PM
Hey all
I'm interested in these 3 guns from Koosh in the Vortex range...
Tornado
Tornado X/2
FireStorm
Power Strike
From what I gather, the Tornado is the first release, the X/2 is the smaller version, with faster fire rate, but lower range, and the FireStorm is the re-release of the Tornado, and improves many things.
Some of you have experience with some, or all of these guns - could I have some quick reviews on them? :)
I'd like to buy one, but am not 100% sure on which one is the best to buy...
(and given I'm in Australia, it'll cost enough for shipping for one, letalone all 3 lol)
I really like the looks of them, though.
Thanks guys!
