It will set me back my life savings (literally) at $3,028
I'm So stoked to play Crysis though
But it is gonna be sooo Über 1337 [/noobspeak]. lemme give you some specs:
Customized Dell XPS 720 (!)
Windows XP Media Center 32 Bit
Hardware
7 Slot Dell Motherboard
3.7 Gigahertz (yes, you read that correctly) Intel Core 2 Extreme CPU at 45nm!
2 GeForce 8800 GT's (at 512 MB)
Media Drives
2 CD/DVD Burners/Drives (dual layer burning compatible)
Blu-Ray Drive (!)
6 USB 2.0 Ports
2 ps/2 Ports
Dell 13-in-1 reader
Memory
500 Gig SATA hdd at 3 GB/second
4 gb of DDR2 RAM at 800 Mhz
Audio
SoundBlaster HD Audio Card (X-Fi)
7.1 support >_>
Peripherals
Logitech G11 keyboard and Razor Copperhead Gaming Mouse (both Neon lit)
Maybe a pre packaged monitor (still deciding because they cost alot)
BlueTooth Support
Cooling
2 Front Mounted 120 x 38 Rotary Fans
Two Step Liquid Cooling (internal)
Apart from costing me an arm, a leg, and my firstborn:
It will unfortunately, get really hot and weigh about 60 pounds, but I'm still excited to be getting it, despite having to custom mount and cool it (for some reason the stock fans never work).
Anyone think I should include the PhysX Accelerator?
EDIT: Realized How boring the post looked, added a few tags

Limewire
23 September 2005 - 04:41 PM
I downloaded Limewire today, and I'm kinda scared. I don't want to go download music for free only to find out it's pirated. In other words, Is Limewire legal?
Some things:
1. I DO NOT want to sell media to other people.
2. I have a clean legal slate.
3. I DID search, and only 3 topics came up, none explaining LimeWire's legal-osity.
4. I don't have any downloaded music as of this moment.
Thank you.

I was thinking of using Irrigation Pipe Insulation foam, but I don't know what to put on the end.
Also: What type of weight should I use, and where should I place it?
Should I put on fins?
I know this is alot of questions, but help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
~NL78~

Quick Sm5k Mod

Supplies:
Stock (or almost stock) SuperMaxx 5000, or any other variant
3/4" CPVC
9/16 Brass (I used rigid copper)
Hot glue
E - Tape
HackSaw
What to do:
First, get your CPVC and your Brass and cut 3 inches of CPVC and 3.5 to 4 inches of Brass. Stick the CPVC directly on the orange nozzle of the gun (do not glue it on). Insert the Brass into the CPVC, and hotglue it in.
Click on the thumbnail if it's too small to see a larger version.
Take it off after the hotglue dries and wrap E - Tape around where you glued it for extra support and to hide the fugly hot glue. Voila! Here is your shell. You can make more of these in order to speedload the gun.
Average Range (Level shot): 87.6 ft. With a Stock Dart.
The 5000 used to measure these ranges did not have any internal modification.
P.S. Copper tastes bad.

America's Army

I recently downloaded America's Army and have been playing online some.
I kinda suck. I have 5 multiplayer kills, but I die alot. I still think it's fun, but if you have any tips or hints, please give them to me.
Also, if there are enough people, we could have our own server.
My screenname is NerfLad.
I have completed all of Basic training, Airborne Training, and half of Special Forces training.
