It's an entirely new company started up on kickstarter.
Here's some more info if you're interested: http://www.kickstart...life-video-game

I have been following these guys since the start, and i'm pumped to see what they bring to the table. I interviewed them a while back and got the lowdown on what people really want to know.

Their firing mechanism is really smart and practical -
Its more or less in perma semi-auto mode.
You can slam-fire non stop or use the trigger as a Long Shot (loser style).
Users CAN calibrate the blaster how they wish too.
It has a REAL recoil to it, and that is missing in many real trigger blasters.
Their AR (Altered Reality) mode is pretty awesome too, and incorporates Capture the Flag counters.

They have a Kickstarter campaign going, aiming for $50,000. They have so far $33,597 (67% of goal) - they have some 14 days left on the clock to raise some $16,500 till the campaign ends. They need the support of blaster fans looking for something new - you can get some awesome rewards too for pledging - check it out more here.

I can't wait to get may hands on one of these and be the biggest loser at Nerf wars!!!1

Now in all seriousness, can you tell us anything about this new clip system? Is that a banana clip? Will there be larger magazines? From what you have seen, do you think it would be possible to modify to put a typical CS magwell in its place? If this is the case, it would be possible to breach it to accept micros AND keep its original functionality, just with smaller ammo.

In addition, about how far would you say that bottom rail attachment is from the user? Would it be possible to make this pump action, or is that just too far away?

Thanks for taking the time to share all of this information.

And just to confirm it, this is the blaster you were saying would change the game, correct?

The MCS-6 clip is a beefed up on 'roids cs-6 clip. There are larger magazines - but for what I cannot say due to NDA. It's actually really nice when you get down in a prone position, the MCS-6 clip does not affect using the blaster at all, its chisel design makes it more manageable actually.

This blaster will not and cannot fire regular Elite sized darts. If you want that, you will have to do a complete gut and rebuild. If you did that, I guess you are looking at a homemade with a sexed up mould.

The stock is akin to a Rayven.

If you wanted to make it into a pump action, again the bolt is 2ft long. Think you are looking at a complete rehash honestly speaking.

This is not the game changer blaster, no :) Hang in there.

Have you handled the blaster before, or is this info from Hasbro's testing?
Do you happen to know the weight of the darts and the mag that holds them?
Also, I can envision that shipping 1.5m+ long boxes would be a problem; should it require assembly, can it be disassembled later, or is it permanent like an unmodded longstrike stock?
Somehow I get the feeling that a great number of CoD playing 12 year olds ßnipers are going to be shorter than the blaster; are there any smaller prototypes in the works?

I did indeed, all 5 variants infact. I was lucky enough to see whats on the board currently up to 2015.

The barrel is *not* detachable. It's fixed. Hasbro actually spent a hell of a lot of money with a ballistics University in the US, who proved barrels benefit blasters, and rifling actually does also. So it's something Hasbro are sticking with. They, at my last conversation with Engineers had no intention to make a detachable blaster.

The MCS rounds a lot of people are hating in. But what darts allow you to maintain velocity, range and accuracy consistantly in windy, rainy situations? Or generally clear weather at 100ft+ ? Also Elites (Stream or Whistler) in a Centurion are actually dangerous. They not only bruise skin, but break the surface (draw blood). So not going to happen that they allow the blaster to be compatible with existing darts.

In order to achieve a longer plunger and draw for 100ft ranges, It's odd that the blaster would be nearly 5ft long. Homemade are able to achieve 100ft range with a blast of about 3ft in length. If they're really taking what Modders are saying into consideration, 5ft is going backwards in design. They should be able to design a blaster that at most should be 3ft and hit 100ft ranges. If we can do it without the use of injection molded shells and precise computer models, there's no reason they can't. I feel like we'll be paying an extra 10 bucks for 2 more feet of plastic.

If this is truly capable of 100ft ranges with megas, then WE're going to see the next wave of fanboyism with this blaster. Converting to micros should be as easy as brass breeching it.

Hopefully it's more solid (shell wise and internally)

The demand for aesthetically pleasing and performance is a marriage that spawns this love child :)

If you check a lot of YT vids, there are a lot of people who love the whole Nerf loser thing, this is Hasbro' answer. There has been a big demand for an Elite loser, but the range performance did not fit in to any range, thus Mega.
