So, I'm almost finished overhauling my 3K, and I find that the screw hole on the back of the turret rod seems to be stripped. The screw for it just slides right through, which is a big problem since it holds the rotation mechanism together. Now, I could just glue it in, but I like to be able to take it back apart just in case it fucks up, which, seeing as this is my last unmodified 3K, would be very, very bad. Does anybody know how I could fix this?
Thanks,
Salmon
EDIT: Problem solved. Thanks cheesypiza!

Lancer Chainsaw?
21 December 2008 - 07:08 PM
So I'm thinking about possibly making a lancer with a PETG breech, but I've searched on the internet and I can't find the chainsaw FA24 used anywhere. All I found is this weird, bigger, curvier Home Depot toy chainsaw on toysrus.com here. So I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction as to where to find one of those little things. Any ideas?
At2k Integration Trouble
19 July 2008 - 04:27 PM
I am currently trying to integrate a spare 2K into my crossbow in a way similar to Ryan201821's Green Monster, except with no/very little tubing sticking out. That bit is working well, but the little goo tube is giving me a lot of trouble. I would like to cut it off and plug it with hot glue/goop, but last time I did that it ended up ruining my 2K and even if I did it still doesnt look like it would fit. So the first idea that came to mind was to completely cut the goo gauge off, not just the tube but the whole orange thing with the rubber membrane in it. But I cant figure out, if I did that, how I would go along connecting the tubing to the tank. So does anyone know if it is possible to completely remove the goo gauge or relocate it or something, and if so could they please tell me how?
Two Questions About Homemades
10 July 2008 - 08:40 PM
Okay, I'm designing a homemade airgun working with an upscaled version of the explosive release valve(I'll post a write-up soon), as well as a new kind of breech, and I have two important questions:
1. Can you bond Sch. 80 and Sch. 40 PVC with PVC glue/PVC primer? Say, a Sch. 40 reducing bushing and some Sch. 80 1/2" PVC?
2. Does 19/32" brass slide into 1/2" Sch. 40 PVC? I know 9/16" does, and 5/8" doesn't, but I don't know about 19/32".
I need these answers as soon as possible, because the current designs depend on it.

Splitfire Help
25 May 2008 - 05:28 PM
First off, I know there was already a topic about this. It didn't help me.
So I semi-recently got a Splitfire from Zaxbys(thanks, by the way) and took it out of the box and pumped. After a few pumps the OPRV kicked in. It sounded like a small "pop." So I plugged the OPRV. It was ok, I pumped it 10 times, shot, and it sounded louder. However, when I pumped, there was a slight problem. There was a "sssss" on the first pump, in the right valve, but then it sort of "sealed" up on the second pump, so it was no big problem so long as I pumped fast. So, I have it now, and what's going on is I pump it 10-11 times, pull the trigger fast, and there is a satisfying "BANG." But when I pull the trigger slowly, to have semi-auto fire, it goes "bang-BANG." The first shot is quieter. How much varies, from almost exactly the same to a tiny "bam" followed by a "BANG." I'm pumping it just as fast each time, and cannot range test(I hacksawed off the barrels to do a barrel replacment, but have not been able to get a suiting barrel material yet.) I do not have much experience with this blaster, so I am asking all of you, judging from my description, do I have a leak? Is everything in check? Is this just normal, or is something wrong?
Thank ya.
