I just painted the handle on my Longshot to fix some nicks in the paint, but now that it is dry, the new paint does not feel the same as the stock paint. The stock paint was glossy but the new paint is kind of rough. What kind of paint should I use?
I bought a Longshot with a worn out spring, and it needs to be replaced. I went to the hardware store, but I really had no clue which one was right. I have seen the pictures of people modifying the spring, but no one ever says the name or type. So my question is, What is the exact name/specification of the best spring to use in a Longshot mod? By best, I mean what will give it decent range without needing additional mods or break the gun?

This is basically a repeat of this thread. There are plenty of writeups stickied for longshots that do mention the spring used.
I just bought a Longshot on ebay for cheap, but unfortunately, it only goes about 10 feet, and the spring is kind of worn out, as this appears to be heavily used. There are a few nicks in the paint, but nothing that I can't fix. What is the easiest mod I can do to get it shooting a respectable range again that has the lowest risk of bricking the blaster? Sorry for being a noob. I tried using the search but I did not understand anything people said.
