This thing fires 3" steel bolts? Is there anyway to make it fire stefans? Maybe with a steel ball bearing instead of a lead fishing weight?

I can't possibly be the only one repetitively chanting "WRITE-UP! WRITE-UP!" can I? I love the idea of scenario nerf, even though a lot of people here don't usually appear to. I was going to make something like this for physics class and we were going to have fights trying to hit the other teams target, but this, this is SO much better.

Yeah, im a boyscout, but my friends and I really don't try for the advancements. we kinda just gave up, even though we are REALLY active. (T93 represent). And yeah I'm surprised there are so many scouts in nerf too.

Definitely doing something like this to Longshot #4. #3 is already deemed to be AT2Ked and sidearm integrated, and shotgunned. but really, someone beat me to the OH HOT DAM. If you want to design your own homemade, i recommend building something similar to a SNAP. As you might be able to already see, there are alot of SNAP variants out there already, so coming up with something new may be either very easy for you, or incredibly hard.

Once you get your fill of SNAP's and various variants, I recommend the FAR or SCAR-N, just because of how fun they are. I am building a homemade that is build from alot of the same ideas and parts as a FAR, but with enough minor modifications to have it been considered its own gun.

If you really want to built your own homemade, just research whats out there. And, patientce. Its a virtue.
