The issue here is that it is really difficult to say where those belong. If they had their own forum, there could easily be related stickies about rules, safety, advertising, etc. I know that it takes ALOT of trial and error to run scenarios each day, and rules, safety, working with the police and the university. We need to be able to share our experience to make it easier for other people. Another forum wouldn't really hurt anyone, would it?Instead of wanting a new forum without showing any proof that it will be used just start posting your stuff in the forums that are already available. I'm sure that if there starts to be a lot of "nerf role playing" based threads popping up the haven staff will see the need for a new forum.
Or why don't you just make a new site dedicated for nerf larps since it is so different than traditional wars?

HOLY SHIT, did you completely ignore my post?
A new site isn't going to be showing up high on Google or any other search engine without some SEO and money...
Guys, you're ignorning what I belive to be Forsaken's key point. There are a lot of people out there, non-board members that play HvZ and Assassins games. They might see the forum page and not realize that this is a good place for them to be. By having forums, or child forums to denote them, people may realize that they belong here...The only qualm I have with a pinned topic is that is not visible from the forum category page.

Um yeah I did I thought that that is what I am supposed to do.
Maybe this site is not the right place for Larpers to be.

a place offering favorable opportunities or conditions
We would offer favorable opportunities or conditions for LARPers, therefore, there is no reason not to accept them.

I think the fact that, according to Longbow in FA24's 'Zombie Games' thread, there were about 300 participants in one HvZ game is justification enough for this modification to the haven. There is the fan base out there for these games; I say we make it as easy as possible for them to find the information they need. The more readily available the info is would result in; more occurring nerf events, better rules, more 'options' for games. Another GIANT plus of having this information more organized, would be the help it would give to other potential colleges/universities for hosting these events. If the info is easy for people that need convincing (like the campus police, or deans/presidents) the less reluctant they are going to be in allowing and even aiding these events.
After all is said and done, I think the positive effect of this modification more than justifies the work that it would take to make FA24's idea a reality.
