So are you guys ready for H3? I cant wait. the gamestop in the mall will be open till 12:01 so we can get ours right on the 25th. they are going to have free pizza, and radio station there too. Its gona be great.
i also preordered the Legendary edition, and a few days ago I bought the halo edition Xbox 360.

Hell yes. I intend to spend every waking hour glued to my TV and 360 until the truant officers pry me away to go to school. 4-player online co-op with my clan, spike grenades (I can stick anyone, anywhere, from any angle. If I get a grenade, someone is going to die within the next ten seconds), Spartan lasers, dual-wield swords (not that I promote the use of swords in multiplayer, only in campaign), and more. Plus, I pre-ordered my copy and intend to pick it up ASAP. This will kick ass in a way never previously defined.

Awsome, i never played beta, so ill have to get used to everything. i plan on staying up the 25th until its beat.

My friend doesn't get his until Friday. But the local game store near me ordered an ass ton of games. The thing I like most is that there is a map editor. I'm not sure if its for online multi-player or not. Can't forget about customization of your armor.

Ya I'm going to go to a Halo party the weekend after it comes out. We are linking two x-box's together and playing with 7 people. And of course when we get board we'll Nerf.

The notable differences:

• The addition of powerups (aka: pickups like the bubble shield, portable gravity lift, trip mine, and power drainer [DO NOT drop the last one next to yourself, or you will dearly regret it]).
• Different control scheme to accomodate the button for power-ups.
• No BXRs or super-boucing anymore. You can't get out of the map because of the automated ass-melting turrets to counter cheaters.
• Spike grenades (they stick to any surface) are new, but you can only carry two grenades of each type now.
• New guns: Brute Spikers (always dual-wield, and you can wreck at close-range), Spartan Laser, Brute Mauler (dual-wieldable shotguns), Assault Rifle (old gun, but the magazine is only 32 round now), and more.
• losing is much harder now, as the human variant fires slower and is harder to control (plus, no auto-aim).
• Elites are no longer Covenant. Brutes travel in packs to make up for the gap. AI is much more coordinated.
• Heavy weapons like the machinegun turret, missile pod, plasma turret, and flamethrower that give you awesome firepower, but switch you to third-person view and decrease speed.

Yeah, it's pretty badass. My buddy got an X360 last week, and is picking up his copy on Tues. We're having an all night H3 bash on the saturday, 4 player co-op and live is gonna be sick. Even my Jazz teacher wants this game.

Are you serious? Of course there'll be Flood! That is the point of Halo! To contain the Flood and then destroy them when they escape! But mostly, the story is about the Brutes and saving Earth. I am getting the game but my 360 broke Thursday and i'm just getting it fixed today. I'm getting 3 legendarys if I dont have to buy another xbox.

Good thing i dont have to wait. My friend's friend is gonna get the game and on my friend's B-day party, we're gonna have a hell of 'o a time. Its amazing how one videogame is anticipated as a next-gen console huh? Microsoft is gonna make millions.

This game is gunna diddle all games. Unfortunatly I saw someone had there facts wrong.... there is no dual wiedable swords. However the gravity hammer is gunna fill that gap and more. Anyone else excited about the hornet to?

I forgot to ask who will be playing hi-def? I was extremely happy when my dad brought home a 52' hi-def 1080p tv for the sun room were adding on!!!!

The map editor is used to edit existing maps. But the thing is it costs "money" to edit the map.

This sin't a spoiler or anything, but there were some vids up of some guys playing last night(illegally, of course) and one guy somehow managed to smack a warthog rocketing towards him with the grav hammer. It was like baseball, but the ball was 5 times his size.
