Name: N/a
Range: Like stock tek ten
Ammo: Mega stefans
Type: Sidearm
This is how it looks.
The gun works pretty much as 3dbbq's firewheel but it's much smaller. In the front there are two wheels with motors which are spinning very fast. These are taken from a tommy 20 but can easily be homemade.
And then there is another motor in the bottom of the magazine which is propelling the darts forward the the spinning wheels.
You can see the wheel in the bottom.
And then there is a switch which starts the orange spinning wheels, and a trigger button which starts the black wheel in the bottom of the mag.
The picture is sort of blurry but you can clearly see the red trigger button. And the metal thing above it is the on and off switch for the orange wheels.
And here is the power source.
It's four AA batteries.

If you can get the magazine to load from below, you'd have a really cute UZI nerf replica. Nice either way, though. Just looks a little unbalanced, being taller than it is long and all
Getting magazines to load from below is really hard in these kind of guns. And it doesn't gain anything by being longer. But if you make it higher you get a higher magazine capacity.
And it looks more like a phaser then a uzi.

And MithMorchaint is right, many things that run off of a lower battery power and is upped with alittle more runs alot faster but you do have to be carefull not to burn up the motor.

My advice: Gear up. Even if the motor isn't that powerful, gearing up just a tiny bit (5:4) would give you a decent bit more speed for those wheels. But, thinking about it again, a motor that runs off of 4 AAs must be pretty weak, (in comparison to others) so I guess maybe not.
Did you look at this thing? It's made out of scrap. And no I'm not going to do anything to the gear ratio of the orange wheels since that would be stupid. Adding gears to this small motors is probably just slow it down due to increased friction.
And about the voltage of this thing. I choose 6volts since it's the voltage that these motors work best with during long periods of time. During my disc launcher days my primary weapon had a 6volt engine running on 24volts it went great for a while and then the gun pretty much melted so over powering electrical motors is nothing i would recommend as long as you don't do it in a controlled fashion.
About the pegboard. I could have gone with some kind of transparent plastic but that takes time to cut and the pegboard works fine for this type of low-tech guns.

I meant for aesthetic value only, of course.

If you a real electrical engineer type guy, you can get some RC and make a robot. Or more perferred a portable scenic drone gun with a motion sensor. Im just fantisizing here if I had a gun like that. Yes it is possible (duh) Im just too dumb to do that kind of stuff.
HAHA. That would be fun but right now I'm working on the second version of this gun.
