My friend and I were quite bored last night around 2am, so we decided to head to the local Wal-Mart and see if we could find anything interesting.

Heading through the toy section, I stumbled across this interesting piece of plastic..


Here is the launcher closed, and opened.




It consists of a simple "plunger", a plunger tube, and a barrel attached right to the tube. It claimed it could shoot the massive missle that comes with it around 35'. For $1.99, I picked up two of them for the hell of it.

The missle shot 60'! Level body shot, very minimal skippage off concrete. I tried an angled shot, 75'!

I think this thing has some potential. The barrel has a generic LBB air restrictor cap at the end. The barrel diameter looks like you could just slip some brass or some OMC PETG right in there. I'll be playing around with these things this weekend and let you know the results.

My cousin has one of these. Really, it's a manually powered gun that is fun to screw around with,but not parctical in a war. I'd like to see what you can do with it though, making crappy guns good is the fun of nerf.

I've got something similar to this, only it's bigger and has a foregrip type thing to make it easier to shoot. Mine will shoot about 90-100' steeply angled. It's pretty useless but I never tried rebarrelling it due to the terrible seal between the plunger and tube.

1/2" PVC fits like a glove in the stock red barrel. OMC's PETG fits perfectly in the PVC...this will be interesting.

And I've got an idea to put two of these together, just have to craft some grips for this.

I saw a video on youtube and this guy modded hit Titan to shoot those missles and he got incredible range. I'm not sure about the exact distance but it was pretty far.

I am actually in the process of modifying one of those. 99% of the air escaped because of the crappy seal. I got some pvc, a longshot muzzle and a crossfire barrel. When I'm done I think it'll shoot darts decently.

I understand that people make mistakes sometimes, but he went out of his way to try to say that I was wrong and make me look like an idiot when he didn't even know what he's talking about. I think that a guy that would do that is a bigger jackass than me.

But back to this guy's topic. That's an interesting find. I'd like to see that missile on a titan with some range mods.

123456; you didn't provide a link on your first post; if you did, n-strike probably wouldn't have commented the way he did. YouTube has millions of videos, and dozens of Nerf-related ones, and God-forbid how many on the Titan Nerf "rocket launcher". He probably wasn't even thinking of the video in which you posted the link to the second time. God, I hate YouTube; too many attention whores there, and everyone wants to show their "Nerf douche bag rifles" there.

Then again, it's great for showing Nerf modification R&D by our dedicated NerfHaven members.

Holy shit are you dumb! Piney is older than me and I am 33. He is an admin, so he can ban you. He chose the purple pony is response to a comment about the avatars, plus he likes the color purple. Get your act together before you are introduced to the 9999 special by Piney himself.

To answer your questions,

No, we're not allowed to be assholes, but we are obligated to make sure everyone is behaving in a civil manner while using NerfHaven. That doesn't mean lack of profane words or intensely worded posts, but we do try to keep everyone in their places.

I simply said that if you posted the YouTube link instead of just saying you saw something on YouTube, we probably wouldn't be having this back-and-forth right now. We're very picky and detail-oriented here. If you just want to throw out random comments, I'd recommend this forum, or this one, or the old standby for shooting the breeze, NerfHQ.

I'm not a fag. I'm married and have two kids, and VERY heterosexual, as I discovered again last night.

Everyone isn't on "my side". They're on my "good side", so I don't ban them.
