Well, with summer right around the corner, the nerf season is creeping up on us fast. Everything from DCNO to Armaggedon is coming up in only a few short months, but I haven't heard a lot about THE east coast war, Appocolypse (Apoc for short). I would like some information on it, but a topic has yet to be created ,so here it is. Some vital stuff I think would be important for someone to mention is the date, the place, the approxamate time, and what to bring(besides nerf guns obviously). Anyone who could post this valuable information would be a big help to many east-coast newbies(including myself). Thanks.

The date is Saturday, August 4th. Short of a act of God, this date is non-negotiable.

The place will be determined by the LCM over the next six weeks. The Summer Tune Up showed us what the physical limitations of Mill Creek were and we easily surpassed them. We will keep you updated as we know more. Expect a location on the Jersey Shore, between Garden State Parkway Exits 60 and 120.

The start time will most likely be 10 AM. The war will run until we can't anymore.

Bring water and an extra t-shirt.

I will be editing your post as the topic wears on so information is easier to find. You decided to start the topic ::glare::, so your post will bear the brunt of it.

Head count from the west coast as far as I am aware is a guranteed two, with a possibility of four, from my group. Myself and Apollo are definitely coming, and Punisher and Akai are looking into it. I won't vouch for Seijin or Bags, but I know Seijin was at least wanting to.

That's a good point, but we need to know who is coming first. If anyone has serious intentions of coming, and by that I mean you already asked your parents and they said ok. If you're above the age where parents matter, that means you may have the money to make the trip. Have I followed my own advice in the past? No, but that's not the point.

The Point: The sooner you let us know, the better.

I'm a large possibility, my mom said it's ok and I have the date marked on our calendar. I'll give you the definate answer as the date gets closer.

Of course, I'm going to talk further with Al on this later, I think we should be able to bring a handful of kids. I'll mark the date and like I said, talk to Al. I might be able to get him to post sometime later today.

Well it looks as if it is going to be 3 of us for sure and maybe even 4 us total coming to APOC.


This is the plan so far:

Rent a car and drive down on Friday.
Spend the night somewhere cheap and close to APOC.
Wake up Saturday and do APOC.
Have some kind of party Saturday night. (Maybe at our hotel or wherever we are staying) This location will also probably be near APOC. Nerfers of age are welcome.
Wake up Sunday and take our rented car to New York.
See some sights.
Then in the evening, go to Buddha Bar.
Spend a night at a decent hotel either in New York or nearby and have one last final party.
Monday wake up and drive home.

Can anyone post or pm me an address near the location of where APOC might be. I need to Map quest it and get some specs on driving,cost,places to stay in the area etc.

The LCM will be chosing the location. They might accept suggestions, but don't take it upon yourself to find a location and then think that they're going to use it.

The park is PROBABLY GOING TO BE DEAL PARK IN MONMOUTH COUNTY, NEW JERSEY.

The date is set and is AUGUST 4.

Plan for this now. This is almost definitely what we're expecting for Apoc 07.
