I've talked to some of my clan member but haven't gotten anything definite yet. It's not a trip I would make alone just because I'd get bored. But if I can get a handful of people together who want to come up I'll try and make it up there.

Well since substance is going and its only an hour and a half away from me I'll see if I can get there. The 7th would work best for me.

I've got at least 3 people who are willing to drive up with me at this point, but we'd on;y be able to do the 14th. At least one of them has family in the area and we might be able to stay somewhere about an hour away. More on this story as it develops.

Alright, I am not especially keen on doing the 7th either as Easter is the following day. If there are a shitload of people that can't go the 14th, I guess I will be fine with the 7th. Post up, you have until Saturday. I will decide on Sunday what the date is.

I completely forgot about a wedding I have to go to on the Monday after Easter. Problem is, my gf is the maid of honor and it's in the Baltimore area. I absolutely cannot miss this wedding, so if I am to attend this badass looking war, it must be moved to the 14th. Much obliged if we can move it.

Now that you guys have hammered out a date, I can safely say that Maryann and I will probably be there. I will check my calendar to make sure, but I'm positive that there will be no problem.

I am probably going to come.
I wanted to go to reckoning but couldn't so this is going to be my first big war.
Ill be 17 in March and I have more than enough guns.
I have a couple of friends that might come along the same age but they don't have many guns
My brother and his friends are all 13 all have guns but there might be a maturity issue there so we will see. They also might be intimidated by nerfing with people much older than them but oh well.
It only 2 hours from my house on the border of NY and NJ so traveling won't be a problem and the rest of my family will probably go to the Dave and Busters in Philly either while I'm at the war or after so they will be happy.

Best case scenario I will be there along with 6 others.
Most probably I will be there with 2-3 others.
Worst case I will not be there.

Questions:
Should I just bring all my guns? about 10-15 total
How many darts should I bring per person?
Micros or Megas?
Should I bring the 13 year olds?
Times?

First post is updated with the final date of the 14th, times of 9-6. I will be there at 7am reserving the field in case any paintball punks show up. Bring all your guns just in case, you can never have too many.

I usually go through about 50-75 darts. But you can pick a lot up and reuse. But I usually get around 50-75 from Hersh and then just pick up. We mostly use micros. No one really uses megas that much anymore.

I believe I was 13 at my first war, but everyone's always told me that I am mature for my age, so I'd say it depends. If they are immature, no, but if they don't get giddy over every little thing and can handle themselves, bring them.

Yeah, dart count also depends on what guns you use. A magstrike or an rf20 will use a lot more than say, an LBB.
Also about the guns. Don't bring your guns that suck. Only bring ones that you will actually use.

Alright. I've been thinking it over. We can't have any more than 3-4 cars behind the American Legion. We are going to meet at Walmart, here.
We will go in as few cars as possible. My mom is willing to make a few trips and take late arrivals out(she will lead them).

On another note. As I have previously stated. There are paintballers that use the same location. It is big enough to accomodate all of us. It's small enough that we may get a stray or two, or they could just be dickeads and hit us intentionally. I will have somewhere in the neighborhood of 5-10 extras. If YOU HAVE A PAINTBALL MASK(S) BRING IT/THEM in case anyone wants to wear one to feel safer. There is a greater likelihood than I may have previously let on. This is the beginning of spring, people haven't paintballed since fall.

Alright, so here's the deal.

Mapquest gives me about an 11 hour drive to get to the site specified, and the earliest I could leave here would be 1:00 on Friday. Although it might be as late as 4:00 on Friday. Is there anyone who would be able to house 7-10 college students on Friday and Saturday night? Or a really cheap hotel/campsite nearby? Any solution to our housing problem would be great.

Mack - There are a few cheapies around. Try Hotwire and Travelocity. Zips are 18104, 18052. Cities are Allentown, Whitehall. You can get them for ~60 a night per room - which equates to like $30/person if there are 8 of you.

That aside, also check kayak.com for hotels and flight info. I use them for work when I need to book travel arrangements and they are usually the cheapest out there.
