Sorry if that's big, but any smaller and it would be harder to read. OK so I'm not going to explain all of it because I get most of it, but the bolt sled is connected to the 19/32 right? And the 9/16" doesn't move at all...? And is the 19/32" glued or attached to the rest of the bolt?
Another question, did you use 9/16" for the main barrel because it fits your darts? Or because it holds the magazine well or something. Because for me, 9/16" is really loose and it probably wouldn't do much more than the fake stock Longshot "barrel". So could I just shrink all the sizes of brass down by 1 size? OR is that what the tightening rings are for.
lol (sorry) but that all might've sounded a bit weird...I'm not good with words.

This made me want to buy myself a longshot, seriously. I can't though, considering my very "In-My-Face" lack of funds. Oh well, it's very well built and thoroughly explained. Clean writeup.

Thanks so much for that post. You really contributed well to this thread. I mean "built very well" yea it does look like it is. Nice observation.
Sorry, but all of these "necros" are just so annoying.

It depends. Different PETG have different fits. My PETG fits in 19/32 brass and over 1/2 brass perfectly.Would these modifications work with PETG?
Sure, You would just have to custom order all the petg. Each piece of petg must slide smoothly in each other and the seal must be perfect. It would be very costly and expensive though.

i got the idea from a guy on youtube thatdid the m16 longshot, i found that this mod might work more like an m16 if you didn't synchronise both triggers together. also, you could make the 2nd weapon stick out a bit and leave the trigger on.

i was looking at your mod and it occured to me that if you had left the handle on (kinda, abit) or a least the trigger part on the gun, and the moded the clip so it was 3 clips in a link but curving, wouldn't it look like an M4 assult rifle?

Making the gun longer for the second handel + trigger would take away the whole point of the under gun, not having to switch hands to fire it. It would be very acward to have one hand of the trigger and the other hand right in front of it on the slider while the whole back of the gun would be were?

and, this is to Ice, not the guy who made the last post. Also, i think you've completely misunderstood me, i meant leave park of the 2ndary gun's trigger on, i thought that i didn't like the fact that you would have to fire both guns if you've cocked them both.

At this point Stan, it doesn't matter because this thread hasn't been posted in since...about a month ago. Check the date next time, alright?
Uhh, Cap'n, since when was a month 4 days? Just wondering, because if so then my schedule is fucked.
Stan, it doesn't matter whether or not the triggers are connected, either way it's a lot simpler and a lot sexier to link them to the same trigger. Also, no hardcore Nerfers here care about aesthetics and if your gun could get your ass shot on the streets because it looks so real. A good paintjob and careful cutting will make a nice looking gun, not unessessary additions and scopes that make the blaster look like "t3h pwnz0rz 5nip3r r1fl3".
PS. It's spelled Secondary, not 2ndary. A message from your Friendly Neighbourhood Grammar-Nazi.
PPS. I forgot to say this is one of the most beautiful mods I've ever seen. I'm working on one at the moment, but I need to find a place that sells Brass. I fit a Maxshot spring in it and it doesn't seem too hard to prime right now.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. A good nerf gun is like a good woman. It shouldn't require extra lubrication.

If you accidentally clock somebody with a doubleshot, then you're more liable to break the doubleshot than you are to cause serious injury.

Is there an alternative to this mod to make it fit stock streamlines?
i think so, but i think it concerns the dart, not not the gun, its cuting the streamlines to the length of a stefan.
NOTE: this has not been ever done by me. (cutting streamlines, if it works, tell me.
by the way, friendly neighbourhood grammar-nazi, i wrote 2ndary to save time.
also, captain, its been 4 days, deaddumpster's right, or maybe it's just you haven't posted in a month.

Is there an alternative to this mod to make it fit stock streamlines?
Yes, I just made my angel-style breech shoot stock streamlines. Unfortunately the gun can not shoot the CaptainSlug style stefan (the ones with the felt) as the felt gets stuck in the tightening rings and the dart becomes crushed. I have tried using looser rings but then the barrel is too loose for stock darts.
Ohh you have to mod the clip with a piece of metal. Glue the metal on the plastic ramp which moves up and down. The brass from the breech will get stuck on the plastic.
I can do a write up next week if you don't get it.

I have never had any problems where I needed to put on metal on my clips dart advancing platform.
I think because your mod shoots stefans, it doesn't open all the way to the end of the clip. To make the gun shoot a stock dart, the breech has to open almost the full length of the clip. The point where the breech get's stuck on the platform is at the angle/ramp part. Maybe you have a different set up, but the brass doesn't want to slide over plastic easily, and ends up digging into the plastic. This is after sanding and deburring the lip. I was going to put a small angle at the end to see if it would help, but because the breech needs to open so wide, I can't cut much more or risk the brass not sealing over each other.
