It's still a month or so out before the next YANO shapes up in January, buth with everybody getting time off from school (and work, hopefully) for the holidays, it seemed perfectly fit to throw in a war.

We're looking at SATURDAYS in December/Beginning of January that you would be available to play.

This will be at the standard location, Cullen Elementary School:

440 N. Live Oak Ave.
Glendora CA 91741

The saturdays that I will be home for are the 16th, 23rd, 30th, and January 6th.

Start posting what works for you, and we'll work off of that. My first choice would be the 30th, because it gives me time to settle down once I get home (I'd be coming home on the 15th, and I'd prefer if I didn't just dive into a war). Then, the 23rd is 2 days before Christmas, so that would probably conflict with a lot of people's schedules. Lastly, the 6th is the day before I go back. Again, none of those are a problem, but if I could choose, I'd go with the 30th.

Post ALL of the dates that work for you, and we'll work out which one is available for the most people.

I'm already booked for the 16th. I get my schedule for work in two week intervals (16th is closed for me), I reccomend the 6th becauyse all of the holiday mess will be done with and that may also give some peoples a week or so to mod/use any "gifts" received during the holidays.

Just to keep things open, though, are you also available for any of the other dates? Your preference is clearly for the 6th, but are you also available for the 30th?

I'm just trying to not narrow things down to one date so quickly. Gives more people a chance to put their two cents in before things are set in stone. Thanks!

I was just stating the day I have the best chance for attendance. The 30th also works but I may have less of a chance of showing up although it's the day before newyears eve so I can probably get it off and work the 31st. So whenever the date is set in stone I'll let you know. I just don't want to miss a weekend of work if I don't have too because it's basically free money for me. Also I did not mean to ensenuate that we are doing this for just me or anything like that lol.

Any date is good for me, just give me a week's warning so i can ask the day off, and if its x-mas week, it may be difficult, but i will find a way, i always do...

I'm Up for a January date just because there's no fucking way I can get a Saturday off in December.

but if you guys don't want to do that, I'll host another war in January instead. I already have the name picked out SOGNO (Some Other Guy's Nerf Out)

What other days are you available? I mean, we're all off of school, so fridays are possibilities as well. Heck, any day of the week is really a possibility. When would you be available at all during December?

As for january, I would be most delighted to attend your "Soggy Nerf Out".

My little Bro really wants to go NERFing and hes in the 6th grade. I know he's a bit young but he's got a sweet mullet and alot of enthusiasm. He's also got set of freakin awesome Boba Fett armour.

I have been looking to attend a Nerf war, Falcon. However, I'm afraid I probably won't be able too, unless I get some sweet-arse guns and mod them satisfactorily in time, as well as proper darts.

But holy crap, I shall have to attend Bags' Nerf war.

And, yes, sixth grade is young, but not, I think, too young. I'm in the seventh grade, and I used to have a sweet mullet until I got a haircuat a few days ago.

I do assume that you have an alternate location, etc? I might (emphasis on the might) be able to make it if it's in the January date.

And, please, Cthulhu, post a picture of your bro (preferably with a Nerf gun) in this Boba Fett armor, so that he can be forewarned if he looks ridiculous.

Nothing too extensive is really needed to play with us. We have people who use dart taggers, magstrikes, Nite Finders, etc. with stock darts all of the time. Don't let what guns you have keep you from coming.

If you have some other reasons for not making it, that's fine. I'm (obviously) not trying to force you to come. I'm just saying most people don't really have incredible guns and all.

Cthulhu, if your brother comes, just make sure he knows that pain is (sometimes) part of the game and that he is okay with it. Nothing ruins a fun day like a person who takes a painful hit and then whines about it for a long time. I'm not worried about your brother doing that, because he's probably just fine with it. Just taking a precaution.

As for the Boba Fett armor, he gets major kudos if he wears it. But it won't count as a shield (I know what you're thinking...lol)

Here's my dates Currently: I'm in school until the 14th, but I have the 15th off, as well as the 18th through the 21st, I double checked and I mainly Close on saturdays for the month of december it looks like, so I guess I could come for a while, if you make it a satruday, but I'd have to leave by 3 because I'd have work at 5, and there's the lameness of the fact that I'll be working 5pm to 1 am, and that's no fun after a hard day of nerfing...

Well, it looks like things are leaning towards the 30th.

I've spoken with the Knights at some length about this, and the 30th seems to work well with most all of them. Maybe, just maybe, the entire clan might be at a single event all at once. Wouldn't that be something?

I'd say we're pretty much settled, then.

Bags, if you could make it with some of your crew (even if you had to leave a little early) that's fine. We won't work you too hard...lol If some of your crew came and didn't have to leave as early as you do, that'd be great. But whatever works for you guys. Hope you can make it out!

I'm looking forward to this. Should be a fun day with some old friends, as well as some new faces. Good stuff.

I can Confirm now that I will not be attending, and also that no one from my clan will be either, for as we know My Clan has Next to no drive without me, and when I'm good to go, they still have very little drive to show up, that and most of them need a Driver...because they'd get lost.
