Take the pre-existing barrel out of main part of gun, then put a tightbore barrel in the pistol that would go from the end of the pistol all the way back to the begining part of the gun where the original barrel was.(this is where I dont know if it could remotely stand a chance of being done) If the pistol is removed it will make the longshot's range drop but why would you not put the pistol on if you could use it to make a long tightbore barrel anyway?
I dont know about the seal of the barrel to the plunger tube though. But if it could be done it should give huge range and accuracy when combined with stefans, air restrictor removal, and either a bbb or nf spring added.
So what do you think guys?

What do you mean by a tightbore barrel? Explain.
And if you don't think that the seal between the air output and barrel is gonna be good, I suggest against the idea in question, because you're gonna get crappy results if there's leakage. Just a thought.

A question for anyone who does own a LS, can the extended barrel on the pistol be removed? Also, what is the greatest OD of the barrel? Is it possible to remove the barrel and replace it with pvc with brass or 1/2" cpvc inside?

If you dissasemble the front blaster the barrel slides right out. The orange suports the barrel sits on are glued to one side of the front blaster. From within the larger blaster if you look at the front of it, there is that big orange adapter that slides inside the front blaster; right behind that is a short length of barrel (4-5inches) that comes right out. This piece is completely seperate from the "staging area" where the dart sits after the blaster is cocked. The outter diameter of the barrel itself is 3/4"; all you would need to do for a barrel mod would be to removed that barrel and dremel off the small lip on the large adapter piece.
Also I've noticed ranges that were posted for the longshot with the added BBB spring were between 60-99 feet.
The range for the longshot with air restrictors removed, a stretched longshot spring (stretched around 3 inches longer) and stock steamlined darts is ~42feet flat and ~62feet angled 30-degrees. This was tested on flat ground between two houses that share one long driveway, wind at 0-5mph.
Happy Modding

I don't really undestand why General Cole is making articles of clothing with my name on it. First it frightened me, but after a few hours I got over it. It seems obvious that General Cole is hoping to have sex with me.

If the pistol is removed it will make the longshot's range drop
The Longshot actually gets more range with the pistol off
