As long as no flaming occurs, the topic is fine.

However, your capitalization is not. You agreed to a Code of Conduct when you registered for this site. I have to ask that you follow it. I know it's a little nitpicky to harp on capitalization on an internet forum, but it keeps things clean, and easy to read.

So again, please do fix your capitalization. PM me if you do have any questions regarding the Code of Conduct or anything.

Ompa, please don't think that my post was intended to pick out which consoles are better and and pick on the others. It was merely my opinions, which can easily be argued with, which is the point of this topic, no? I'm sorry if it could have spiraled downwards that way, for it wasn't my intention.

/offtopic

Davenelz, you bring up a good point about games being outdated. But to use the same terms, older games for the Snes, Dreamcast, etc. are also "outdated". This doesn't mean that the games are bad or not worth paying for/playing. This is why I still have hope for new gen consoles. Yes, their graphical capacity might be outdated in a few years, and the people who like better, shinier graphics over good gameplay will flock to the next gen afterwards. But if a game is good or worth playing now, it'll still be worth playing X years afterwards to someone who hasn't played it yet. Plus, we can always wait until the price comes down, right?

Right now most of my time is devoted to WoW, but I also play several FPSs such as CS and CoD2 (PC versions). I'd have to say that CoD2 is freaking sick online and takes me back to the CS days, but I've been having to raid a lot in WoW (60 Orc Warrior, and thus very gear dependent). I love WoW, and the rush of a ZOMGWTFBBQPWNFACE to silly Alliance twinks in the 39 bracket is insane, but I know how to take a brake and stay grounded in the real world. I play on Bleeding Hollow, and people can hit me up with a PM if they want to.

Edit: Just realized that I've been playing KH:2 and FFXI kinda recently too.

Don't worry about it, I knew you weren't trying to do anything; it's just some fanboys tend to use anything as an excuse to argue for their system, and I wanted to head it off before anything went in that direction. Don't think your post was the REASON I posted, it just reminded me of something I forgot to post.

I'm kind of in between games right now. I was starting up on Starcraft for a while, got tired of it. Then was trying out America's Army, but I lagged so much I couldn't do anything. And now I just got WoW. Already installed it, but didn't realize I didn't have the right graphics card, so I haven't actually started playing yet.

I also love FPS and some RPGs. Mostly anything that lets me get away from the real world for a little bit. Real life is exhausting sometimes, and it's nice to have some time to escape each day.

I don't like you moubeus.

I forgot Soldat! That is an insanely fun game, especially online. I almost always use a Barret and USSOCOM as a sidearm. It's especially fun when two people are trying to eat shit each other and you surprise them by throwing a grenade at one of them!

For those that are unaware of this game (I know there MUST be at least a few people that don't know about it), check this out. www.soldat.pl

Dave, I agree with you wholeheartedly about Perfect Dark and Goldeneye. Goldeneye's gameplay is superior in my opinion because there were more shootouts and they lasted longer, you couldn't usually just pull out a bigger gun and blast someone's head off and win. It took a lot more skill to win; that's why my brother is still the reigning Goldeneye champion after ten years. Good times.

Splinter Cell is my favourite, incredible graphics, immersive soundtrack, and some great game play make the series one of the best.

Soldat is a great time waster. You can pop on, smoke a few guys, and be gone as fast as you got on. The comps in the game, however, are rather stupid at times, leaving you, in offline games, to fend for yourself.

There are way too many Barret whores on that game as well. They can 1hit anything, so that's what they use. Annoying, because machine gun firefights in that game get so fun online, especially with a couple people on each side. A definate must-play for people who like to have fun, however.

Worms was also a favorite of mine. No other game that I found was quite like it. It combined quirky graphics, smooth interface, skill, and exploding sheep into one game. I've been playing it for years, it really never gets old. Especially with multiple friends and loud music. Good times.

Does anyone other than me think the gravity gun kicks ass?

Games I've been playing lately...

PC: World of Warcraft, Titan Quest (OMG), Star Wars: Empire at War

Xbox 360: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Dead Rising, NBA Live 06, NCAA 2007

Gamecube: SSBM

I saw someone mention Worms. I still boot up Worms: World Party about once a week and play it. Still 'eh' on the whole 3D aspect of the new ones. Something just seems way off from the fun old versions.
