Okay ladies, I've got an announcement to make:

I want to start planning a new Meadowvale Mississauga Nerf Out.

Search up the old topics to find the letter to parents and the newsletter since I can't be bothered to find them on my computer right now.

The date could be sometime this March break, say, Saturday March 18th 2006? I suggest a Saturday just for ease of parents driving you guys around. This is going to be the only weekend that I'm availible for a while.

I don't expect this to be huge, but I'd like to get out and Nerf if the weather is nice and if there are more than 4 people coming.

I hear shouts from Tony, Jeeves, and Forsaken_Angel, and I'll kick Mike in the balls until he says he's coming.

Thoughts, ideas?

Sounds good wrath. What about Blink182? He lives in Vaughan but thats close enough. Less than 30 minute drive with no traffic. Ill call up the troops see who I can get in on this.

March break (18th) doesn't work for me, my friends and I are very busy with the end of the school year only a month away. Let me know if you're planning a war for the summer, like after may 1st in 'sauga because with enough notice I can arrange about 50+ people to come down.

Sounds good enough to me, although Cam I might Need to use a gun from you if thats cool. I just sold my baby, but it was well worth it. I will DEFENTLY take a break from Paintball and come back to my roots. Say I come down a day early and we mass produce darts like old times...Give me a call!

Hey guys. The 18th sounds great! Count me in, i'll give Jon a call and ask him if he wants to come as well. Cam, im going to have to ask you for darts...again! Tony, if you need any guns, i have an abundance of night finders if youd like to use and possibly a maverick (If i get it modded soon). One more thing, the trigger on my Rf20 broke (I can hear Mike cheering right now) so I have to fix that as well. It seems like we might get a good turnout this time around.

As for the summer, it's a definite yes if this MMNO4 has a good turnout. I will see to it that a summer war is organized.

If my guns are in working order, I'll look into lending. It's going to be tight, but if I save money after my trip to Rhode Island (3 days) I'm buying 2 Maxshots and I'm going to full out turret mod them and let someone use my SM5k and NF combo.

Let's hope for your sakes that I spend all $145 in Rhode Island.

The group I Nerf with is about 75 people, give or take the week...so given it's summer I would hope that at least 30 would come around for some carnage. I have about 10 friends in the immediate sauga area that would be up for something fun. I'm also hoping to set up a war during the summer, maybe july sometime. Being in the armpit of Ontario gives us lots of places that would kick serioius ass for a war. Most of the people I nerf with only use stock Buzzbee RFR's and its usually indoors while wasted. Oh the memories, or lack thereof. haha.

Anyways I digress. The summer would rock for some serious Ontario nerfouts. I'll start spreading the word and giving the website address to some of my friends at the next meeting I go to, to make sure they dont get creamed by modded blasters. Even if I can only get a carload of people at the very worst I'll be there.

Mmm, I forgot to mention that (Everyone else just remembers).

It's at 6700 Edenwood Drive. It's Meadowvale Secondary School. It's pretty much right where Battleford and Winston Chruchill cross.

Yeah, we've changed it alot since then. We usually Nerf in the forest behind the football field for CTF, and then for free for alls we just run around the area where the portables used to be (now a grassy grove/field) and the parking lot behind the woodshop.

This is shaping up to be quite promising.

Okay, after my trip to Rhode Island I'm feeling very tired, and I've caught a bloody cold. I don't have much time this week inbetween work and homework, I work 6 days this week. I'm thinking that I'm going to have to suggest a new date closer to June instead. If you guys hadn't noticed, the heavens opened up and shit all over our area this weekend and everything is flooded.

I'm sorry guys, but I'm not up for a war this weekend because these factors:

Well this sucks, the weather sucks, other peoples tiredness x3 sucks (just kidding) but there is only one thing that sucks most. Post-poning 2 months really sucks. How many of these things normally go down in a year anyway?

Since Canada has only so many good months to nerf, I think we should have more dates than once a year. I know Hexen had to cancel on a trip somewhere for this thing. The 17th sounds fine. I just wish it wasnt so far away thats all. My only conern is not being able to go because of an assassin game that is ongoing at the time.

I hate letting people down but in the end, you guys can seriously go on without me with no hard feelings. I organize this stuff with Mike and Tony because I enjoy the friendship and social benefits of events like Nerf Outs.

The weather here is just not ideal for Nerfing and neither is my physical condition of late.

If we get a good turn out for MMNO4 in June, then that will most likely spark my enthusiasim to organize more wars, closer together, and more often. Until I see that my efforts will duely pay off, I'm not too inclined to make larger sacrifices for people. Last time I stayed up all night for MMNO3, we got 4 people to show up because everyone cancelled last minute.

I just need some time, and confidence.

Man its so true that we don't have enough time to do these nerf outs due to our weather condition. We should start scoping some indoor venues that would allow us access I mean we could always try renting out a Laser quest for a night. Me and Forsaken_angel have a mutual friend who could make it possible, but if not there there must be other places.

I'm just worried about the cost or renting out such a large space for several hours.

I remember hearing somewhere that renting one of those places out for a night is like $300. This is doable if we can even get 30 people to go $10 a peice. I personally dont mind going $20.

It's a good thing the war wasn't today, I got in from work at 3:07am. That would have given me 6 hours of sleep before the war, and no darts or guns. Pretty much sucks.

So yeah, I haven't heard from anyone other than HeXen and Angel about a new war date.
