Oh, fine. Forget about the guy that's flown out there two times already. Don't mention him at all.

Cockass.

To be completely honest, saying I purchased my camcorder is somewhat of a misnomer. I 'acquired' it from a source which may or may not be an electronics store, or a friend, or a friend that perhaps works at an electronic store. It's a cheap piece of shit but it records video and voice and that's all I need.

As far as the money thing goes, I, well -- you know, I work the corners downtown every once in a while. Helps pay the bills.

Forgive me. And from what lovely state of the union to we owe the honor of your visit, Groove?

Okay, so I used jersey as a general statement. How about "the guys from Jersey, Virginia, Delaware, and wherever the fuck else thsese guys could possibly be coming from."

Cockass

Just for the record, I was pretty sure we had already established that our anuses were perfectly safe from the likes of such appendages...

And Seijin, I'll have duct tape and my old Nerf Slingshot. Bring a plastic lightsaber.

I'll be there - probably filming for whoever wants to give me their camera. Or I'll be hobbling around kicking all of your asses. Who's bringing the Coronas?

Cool, glad to hear you'll be there Ray.

Beer will have to wait till afterwards, and if anyone wants US/Mexican-style beer they'll have to bring their own. I do have pale ale, brown ale, and stout on hand, as well as various soda.

Edit: Just checked out the extended weather forecast and we're apparently looking at 100 degrees in Glendora on Saturday. Everyone bring a truckload of water and don't forget the sunblock.

I guess the "From: Richmond, VA" under my name was not clear enough for you, I apologize. You're damn right I'm from Virginia.

/snicker

I kid, I kid. Some of the Eastern States can actually get confusing comparatively to the West Coast ones, because they're all clusterfux'd together in some areas. And considering myself and Boltsniper are pretty much the two Lone Virginians active on this site I can't blame you for making sweeping generalizations.

I can handle 100 degrees, just not 100 plus humidity. But if this year's Armageddon is any indicator to the previous ones, that shouldn't be a problem.

Quick Edit: Damn, already 18 pages before the war. This one is going to be Effeminate.

Just to give a varying perspective, I've also heard reports of 106 degrees here in the area on Saturday as well.

Let's just say it's advisable that you not wear all dark clothes, Seijin...

I think the part of the weather this coming weekend will be that it is just so damn DRY out here. I continually forget that I'm really living in the desert. Regardless of thow close the ocean is and how many green trees there are around, the dirt is bone dry, and the air is too. So when it gets really hot, expect it to feel like breathing sandpaper that just came out of the microwave...

Okay, so much for people wanting to come. So it's not that bad. I suppose I just want people to come expecting the worst.

And about the states...during the planning stages of the war, I just kept referring to the east coasters as either "the east coasters" or "the jersey guys" when talking to my clan and such. I kept forgetting that Talio is from Delaware, never really figured out where you [Groove] were from (until it mattered, a post ago...lol) and I just mixed it all the fuck up.

But whatever.

I guess I'll have to switch from my dark shirt to my bright-vibrant no-shirt style!

I worry, cause last time we played it was humid too, plus 80-90 temp. I wanted to shoot myself sadly enough. But I guess that won't be the case, so least I hope. But none the less I had a cooler given to me as a wedding gift. And what better way to break it in.

Cx. Yeah...I kinda hope theres soda too. Some of us (Mainly me) Don't drink. So, some coke would be nice. And I'm not a jackass, so you can drink to your hearts continent while I'm around, it doesn't bother me at all.

Check it out.

28% humidity at 11:00AM, decreasing from there.

Can I get a headcount for apres-war please? I have beaucoup brew, but need to go on a soda/chips/dogs run tomorrow. PMs would be fine.

Two days and a few hours to go! About time to start working on guns/darts...

Tomorrow, I'm taking Sage, Apollo, and possibly one or two others down to the backup location to play around a bit.

We'll be all warmed up and ready to go when you all get here.

None of us will be heading over to the afterparty, I believe, so that takes about 14 people off the list. Makes things easier on you, certainly.

Anyone really pysch'd about tomorrow? I haven't been this excited in awhile. I feel like a giddy school girl (again). I even put together guns I never thought would see the light of day. Including, giving the Firefly "Firefly 2.0", meaning in life (I cheated). As well as resurected a seriously old classic for me; but it might too powerful. We're ranging it in the next few hours or so.

Kevin (And your household) - Don't get too wasted tonight! I'd like you all to be awake and lively in the morning.

Seijin's bringing his Sch 80'd Sm5k.

If you thought we wouldn't guess...lol.
Doritard's going to be jealous because he spent all of the last school year claiming to all of us that he had purchased one (which didn;t come, oddly, for seven-some-odd months) and then when it finally did "arrive" it "shot through a tree in his backyard". We still have yet to see this 5k of his...expect him to be whining about how he "can't get 'his own' to work right now" when you arrive this evening. At which point, you have our full permission to shoot him as much as you like with it once we duct tape him to a tree in the backyard and stuff his mouth with doritos.

Yes, we'll take pictures.

I feel like a giddy school girl (again).

AGAIN?
AND ALL THIS TIME YOU GUYS (YANO participants) HAVE BEEN LABELING ME AS THE HOMOSEXUAL?
I know he's married and all, but COME ON...

And yes, I'm excited. I've been waiting for this damn war for months. Can't wait to see the easties tomorrow, as well as all the familiar faces and old friends.

Hopefully Spoon included. But I trust that you (Cx) have that taken care of...

I'd like to see Matt, Hubbard, and Jason too, but nobody's heard anything from that crowd (that I'm aware of) so I suppose I just won't get my hopes up.

Everybody bring LOTS of water! It's pretty hot here in Glendora today, and tomorrow promises to only get worse. See you all in the morning.

It was 107 today (I was outside digging ditches...)

I realize it's late notice, but I'm planning on bringing an ice chest and getting ice and drinks tomarrow morning. If anyone would like to help out with paying for it and share in the cold drinks that'd be cool (no pun intended).

Man guys, I hope you have an AWESOME war.
I'm actually NOT going to make it, and am bailing last minute.
I decided to go to Vegas for business with the company I work for all expenses paid, and though I'm sad not to be there, I'm having a wonderful time.

I wonder if you're saying that under duress, just to make ME lose sleep...

But it's probably not going to ahve any effect on me either way. Because itls 2 fucking 45 in the morning, and I just finished modding gun #4 for the evening (#1 began after the night war, when a number of guns decided they wanted to shit on their users and need fixing.)

Anyway, I'll see you east-coast fuckers in 7 1/4 hours.

In the meantime, Sage is asleep on my easy chair behind me, and he's mumbling funny noises...

No west-coast nerfers were harmed in the making of this post. All were, in fact, asleep (and still are) and were not in any way, shape, or form, acting. This has been a NO budget production.

Dearest Greg,

We were notified that you may be returning to the site of the war to gather some of your belongings. There are quite a few guns left there, you might want to check it out.

Anybody care to explain THAT one..?

Fun day, guys. Fun day. No run-ins with the police or school staff, and the place seems to have worked out decently enough. I'll be happy to be back in a grid (a la cullen) come fall, but regardless, it was fun.

Katie got some footage with her camera (still don't know why Bags didn't use his, and why Ace didn't bring his, but oh well) and I'll see if there's enough to throw into a video of some sort. Maybe I'll just slap it all together and put it on youtube...

We'll see. Regardless, good turnout, and fun rounds (we played what, 5 full rounds+that pistol round like 1/2 the people played in?) Nice to meet OMC and Kuhlschrank and good to see Groove again. And now I'm going to go fall asleep.

Actually yes, yes I would love too.

That happened to be at Radio Shack, the only place where we could get internet access. This will make more sense later.

After driving 100 miles to get to your place, your school was unfortunately under construction, and we were really early, after waiting for an hour no one showed up except James and his mom.

We proceeded to go to EVERY SINGLE SCHOOL IN FUCKING GLENDORA BECAUSE NO ONE LEFT A SIGN THAT SAID WHERE THE NERF WAR WAS. Of course, we happened to miss the one school, the one where the war was happening.

Then we went to in n out (the one on the otherside of town by the way), to wait for you all, because I remembered a comment about eating lunch at in n out. So of course we waited for around an hour.

Eventually, we all got sick of it and started to drive, when I hade the idea to go to radio shack, and check my PM to see if Kevin had sent me his number for the after party.

Fortunately, in a second "after thought" PM he did.

<3 Kevin.

Then we went to the war, but at the time, I was pretty peeved about exploring the entire giant city of Glendora. Other than that, s'all good brah'.

It's all good. Between the action footage that I believe that Groove got (if that's the camera I saw Ray carrying...) and the stuff Katie took, we'll have enough to thor something together. We didn't run around all day in the blistering heat shooting at each other just to chat about it afterwards...lol.
