Ok, i ordered my PETG from Mc Masters...but my FBR seems to be a bit too thick for it. Also, unlike brass, I cannot just push the dart in, it must be twisted in, which makes my ROF much slower. I need to know what FBR i should buy if there is a difference in different brands. Or if some brands of FBR are smoother than others so I can push the dart in instead of twisting. Stretching darts would be my last resort since it is a hassle and takes a lot of time. If anyone knows a good quick way to PERMANENTLY stretch (since when I stretch my FBr it just pops back into its old position after 2 hours). Has anyone else bought PETG from mcmasters so I kkow whether the problem is my FBR or the PETG. Cxwq you said your darts were almost loose inside the PETG. Have you tried any of the MC masters PETG. I guess if I have to I will buy some from you...but I just spend lots of money on like 24 feet of this stuff so please help me!

The problem is that FBR has extremely variable measurements, even with the same manufacturer. I have a batch of FBR that was cut from the same spool and it varies by as much as 1/64" in diameter. That doesn't sound like much but it's enough to change a loose fit to a tight fit.

What you really need to do is buy a whole bunch (hundreds of feet, it's cheap right?) of FBR, measure the average diameter as close as you can - at least two decimal places. Then you can find the materials that give you decent fit on your FBR.

Um. No.

You may have good luck with loghelp.com though. That's where I got mine.

See, I bought 900' so I'd never ever have to buy any again and I'd always be assured of having a safe supply. And then half the people in SoCal started using my darts/foam. Now I'm down to about 600' in a year or so. Scary shit.
