Elf, that actually wasn't the Solidworks drawing I created. That was a smaller gun that I never got the time to print out on the 3D printer. I'm transferring to a small Christian school in Mankato this upcomming year, so it looks like I won't get to it.

Thanks. I actually didn't minimize the plunger stroke at all. I removed everything orange from the gun except the trigger, plunger tube, and plunger rod. I then replaced the stock barrel and all of the other orange pieces with a 1/2" cpvc coupler that was cut in half, lathed down, and cemented into PVC, which was then cemented into the plunger tube. The result maximizes the plunger stroke and air output. Not by much, but every little bit counts in my book.

And the shotgun attachment is removable, just grab-twist-pull. In "normal" mode it is a breech-loading single-dart rifle. Yes, it is a rattler barrel, though modified. I put tighter tubing inside the existing barrels and widened the holes inside to allow more air in.

I'm new to modding And probally a n00b though but still.

Ya, i made a scope with the old lens from two nitefinders and a marker. I used what i had around the house otherwise i would have pvc pipe. I replaced the batteries with a second nitefinders dart holders so now mine can hold 5 darts. I also of course go rid of all the restrictors in the gun. It shoots on average 50 ft. The small barrel under the real one is for show but i'm going to unscrew it and put a small flashlight in there now that i removed the target light.

you should use a different barrel such as cpvc or 17/32 brass

I haven't been able to find that specific one online. There's a similar one made by Ertl that shoots foam balls.

Petg modded Blastfire for a buddy of mine. He liked the stock colors so he didn't want a paint job. I had a strange problem with this gun. It seemed that the OP valve was really wimpy. Stock it would shoot darts like 15 feet. Once the barrels were added, the stefans wouldn't leave the barrels. Once I plugged the OP valve I noticed an increase in power at a mere 3 pumps. 8 pumps and this puppy fires out each dart around 71' average. The blast mode sends the darts even farther. It seemed that the blast sent all five darts about 5-10 feet farther than the single fire mode. OMC's Petg strikes again.

I followed Cxwq's write up for this mod but replaced brass with petg.

I would just like to make note that I have seen the internals of two Blastfires now and neither of them have had the expansion spring like in Cxwq's pic of the internals in his write up here at the haven.
But it is a good idea that would return the slider bar to the original position.
I think he just did that modification and forgot to write about it.

EDIT: OMC, I didn't break this blast fire. I was just stating that when I got it, its OP valve was already broken.

I've broken my fair share of Blastfires too. They have some of the most finicky valves I've ever dealt with. Awesome job of course. Actually, my next mod in my "free time" was going to be this exact thing. Good to see it working though.

Like the LBB King Of Butt Land. I just modded my bbb to shoot megas and it sucks ass like 50' tops it fires when I cock it sometimes too. Like the blastfire Fa24.

Did you plug your pump? Just so you know, those ranges are with 20 to 30 pumps. The silencer does reduce range a tad, but it's well worth it with the cool factor it adds.

This is my LS. Of course, I am a very stupid person, so this is not an integration mod. I just minimized the front LS and cut off the bi-pod area. Then I just glued it with a hot glue gun. I also did not add extra springs or removed the ARs. This is just a regular stock LS with the front gun glued to the bottom of it. It's only for looks.
