Direct Threat, those are some awesome paintjobs. But why don't you try not weathering it (sanding it down and stuff) for once..?

I really have no idea what you're talking about. Sanding what down? There's no weathering in this piece aside from the bit I did with paint. The only thing taken off of the gun were the stickers it came with.

It's about time that I got to post here!

I've got two mods that are worth putting in. The first is a basic NiteFinder mod.

Posted Image

RoseArt Marker Barrel, and three added ammo holders.

Posted Image

Ammo Holder 1...

Posted Image

Ammo Holders 2 and 3.

It gets approximately 55-60 I would guess with a 5 degree angle. This is very rough, as I'm just counting tiles in my dorm's hallway.

Up next is my heavily modified Longshot, the Peacemaker.

Posted Image

It's perfectly functional, but the wood's a little thin. I may rebuild it a bit stronger and cleaner. But it works NICE.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Will post again when I have other stuff. Ciao!

I'm still not following you. If you mean my paintscheme as of late is the same (red and black) thats because I'm practticing this color scheme for my own personal guns for a larp my friends and I are looking forward to. If you're referring to the way that I paint, well, its the style I paint in, and its not really going to change. <shrug>

Hey, I wasn't offended, you're more than allowed your opinion, I was just trying to get a grasp on what you were saying. I don't expect everyone to enjoy my paintjobs.

Well, I rebuilt it! I have to say, I'm MUCH more pleased with this version. It looks better, is simpler, and stronger. All around improved.

Posted Image

I'm really very pleased with this. Also, the magazines have been doubled up to do away with that stupid stock in the back of the gun.

Honestly, it's as bad as the bi pod...

Posted Image

Lastly, I found the brass barrel I had bought a while ago, and installed it onto the Nitefinder. I've never done a brass barrel before, and I'm really impressed by the performance increase.

Posted Image

With a Stefan pushed 1/2" down the barrel, it probably gets 15' on my other Nitefinders. Very nice!

Posted Image

I think I'm going to try to paint my guns next. I'm definitely painting the shotgun fore grip.

Man I love Christmas.

I noticed the brass you used is threaded, do you intend to make a cosmetic supressor or did it just turn out that way?

That was the ONLY piece of brass I could find that fit the darts right.

Bloody thing cost about $6 too...

But yes, since it's threaded anyways, I figure I might as well try to make a supressor. Why not?

Since there arent many pics of the sonic bazooka i decided to post one here. This one is not stock but looks that way. It has the air-restrictor removed and a plugged pump.

Posted Image
Here it is with the removable barrel.

Posted Image
Close up on the barrel.

Posted Image
And here is the barrel alone.

Does posting in agreement somehow validate your standing in the community? Personally I think it just makes you look like a tool.

Sexy!

All of those are really nice. The white longshot looked especially good. Great work!

Latest Foregrip Kit revision plus I decided to make a new forward sight because the stock one wasn't accepting paint and was getting annoying.

The gun is now as monochrome as I can make it without compromising the ability to use it outside safely. Wanted to get it ready visually for the new magazine I will be making from scratch this weekend.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

This is my best modified gun. I just finished it this morning; getting it done before I start on my new project.

I have never thought that this gun would get such great ranges... I thought my single barrel AT3K mod would be better than this, but apparently not. This gun is incredibly painful after three pumps.
After testing with three types of micro darts on the sidewalk I got some ranges written down roughly:
stock micros go about 80 feet, my homemade micros go about 83 feet, and my modified stock micros got from 85 to 90 feet, with a slight breeze blowing against the dart.
I didn't think it would work so well, being an old larami gun sitting in my basement for ten years.

The thing's pretty accurate up to 85 feet.
Now all it needs is a paintjob.

I would love to test it using stefans, but I can't find any stores selling 1/2 inch foam backer, and I can't get anyone to buy some off of the internet for me.

No offense but thats hideous and lacking in the range department. My quad brassed 1500 outshoots your single barrel and it looks alot more sexy.

LOL, I know its hideous.

And I know why its range sucks. The tube connecting the pump to the pressure chamber was leaking, AND the barrel wasn't properly sealed.

Now, after some repairs, I must say, 125 feet at 15 degree angle is not a crappy range.

(if you think I'm trying to cover up because I'm embarrassed, I could give you a video, but Im hoping you're not that type of person)

Murakumo, that gun looks awsome. Is the bottom trigger hard to pull though?

The bottom trigger is not hard to pull, even with my left hand (I'm a righty). I cut both handles shot enough so that i could fire the bottom gun with my "ring" finger, which is less coordinated than my pinky, but stronger.

You must lose a ton of range with that barrel. You should shorten it, if you want more range.
Nice mod, looks comfy.
