I painted these three using lasercut stencils I designed the patterns for. I’ll be releasing these for community use soon.

Send me a PM with your address, credit card info, a scandalous picture of your mother, and your social security number. Okay, I'm kidding about the social. And the credit card.

Also, the pump handle is from a Super Soaker MaxD 6000. Really the only good part on that stupid thing.
Because the completely unique design changes, I've decided to call it... Sceptor, because giving names to modifications is silly.

I just did really simple shit but it works for stock dart wars. I just threw in a small roughly 2.5'' stub of 17/32 brass into the stock barrel, removed the slide and barrel peg, and epoxy puttied a zip tie on. The zip tie is fugly but it's more comfortable than the traditional keyring.
Shoots well enough to get the job done (roughly 40 to 55 feet, I didn't measure) with the normal elite and elite suction darts.
Also, do this. It will save your middle finger.

17/32"BRS in 1/2"PETG in 1/2"PVC conduit, nylon plunger rod/handle, polycarb trigger and plunger head.
PVC couplered PAS, needs new internals, PT is cracked at the back badly.
Fixing up the internals of this 5K.
3/4"-1/2"PVC reducer solvent welded to 500 tank, first of three or so.
Replaced internals Sharpshooter I
Made this for a friend for Christmas 2013.
I would much perfer a game that's free of KY. I like it rough. Right, Vacc?

Universal coupler:
Three different barrels. Top one shoots elites and arrows. Middle one shoots elites and mega elites. Bottom one shoots my take on the missile/bullet bill- The Shark-nado (Yes, it's named for the cheesy b-movie).
Cut-outs to showoff the silver plunger tube and spring action.
Integrated Nite Finder dart holders to store elites.
A couple views of my Shark-nado. I plan on making several of these each with it's own theme.
I plan on doing a few more mods, including a new plunger tube for more air volume and a spring replacement, as well as reinforced bow arms with surgical tubing bow-strings for a little extra 'oomph'. I also plan on making 3-5 7 shot absolver barrels to carry with it too, as well as an RSCB hoppered barrel.
Paint is white Rust-oleum plastic primer, Rust-oleum cherry red, Rust-oleum metallic aluminum, and Rust-oleum high gloss clear coat.
*Edited for spelling errors.

Below are my first two attempts at painting some blasters.
Relativly simple paintjobs but I'm really happy with the results. (My nephew thinks they are amazing so thats good enough for me)
I'm now moving on to something a little more involved regarding the painting of my new rapidstrike blaster, more colours and "maybe" custom decals. Influenced by some of the excellent paintjobs I've seen on this thread.

Edit I hate wind. I retested my ranges and the farthest I got was 87' must have been the wind when it hit 100'
That's all for now. may add more later.

Sorry, realised a little late that additional info is sometimes appreciated.
New guy here, actually painting blasters for my kids. This one here is my oldest one's Strongarm. Used Hammerite to try to recreate that authentic metallic feel. Turned out better than expected.
Will post my daughter's glitter-pink Rayven in a few.

It was actually quite difficult to paint, since the glitter-paint she had set her eyes on was very heavy and tended to just slide off every curved surface it was sprayed on.
I was not thrilled by the looks of the silver handle, for now I have it covered with some camo-tape. As she was afraid of the dark, I attached a pink LED-torch and hanged it on the wall next to her bed. So when the night terrors come, she can just flick on the torch and grab her Nerf without getting out of bed.
Left a small portion of the clip unpainted, so she can see how many darts are left.

I used one of those temporary water-based tattoo things as a decal, since my youngest had a 'skull-phase' back then.

This is my fire strike I just finished. It has th ears removed and the shell minimized. The minimization is not terribly clean because I used a Dremel but it satisfies so yep.

This first one is for my youngest, he wanted something with green and blue. And skulls. And red, too.
I used green Hammerite and metallic blue spray paint which gave me the desired effect.
And skull tattoos, of course. I guess he still has a skull phase...
And my daughter wanted a Rebelle look for her Maverick. With a Hello Kitty zombie decal.
So I found this lilac spraypaint in my shed that was at least ten years old, left there by the previous owners of the house. And it was perfect!
She then wanted some gold too. So I obliged with that one.
I bought some 'print-it-yourself' decal paper, but it's very difficult to make a large decal that will look good. Especially the Rebelle type swirls caught a lot of bubbles underneath, so I abandoned the idea rather quick. Smaller decals went okay'ish.
