If I were you, I would let the Admins do their job, don't do it for them.Clearly, you can count but perhaps you should work on spelling (as per the COC).
Oh and maybe I can count or somthing, but my real quick estemate says 3 sentences, but what the hell do I know.
Better yet, try not to clog up a thread by adding purely pointless sarcasm. Your earlier post (describing the cocking action etc) was useful. The following one wasn't.

But yeah, great work. I just wish they were still selling stock guns over here.

Does this mod ring any bells for anyone else? I remember the basic action(breech hooked to rear half of gun) of this mod being elsewhere about three years ago. Was it merlinski or maybe Sniper5000? Perhaps it was just an idea not implemented.
I'm not trying to say "this has already been done," I'm just trying to figure out if someone else recognizes this, or perhaps I'm crazy.

The BBB is one of my favorite guns and I use it a lot. The ROF sucks but with your mod that's been improved. Great job Piss. You could've called it the Piss Bow or something though.
Looks great man, awesome job. I also like the paintjob.

You're absolutely right though.Wouldn't it be more bolt-action than semi-auto?

And phoenix...i dont see whyit wouldnt be possible, but i think it would lose some of the sexiness factor considering that the clip is really far foraward on the gun.

However, how can you aim at all with an opaque tower of darts right in front of your line of site?

It's even with the top of the blaster... you don't need to use the sights to aim a BBB anyhow.
I really like this mod, it was something I wanted to work on for my BBB - the brass of course is essential because it has such a thin wall size so that after 1 dart drops in, the bolt closes over the brass and seals it without pinching the next dart. I agree with Suave though, this general concept was working 3 years ago or so with the original release of the BBB... except that person was using a crude system of PVC and wooden rails attached to the back handle I think. Sending the metal rod into the internals to attach to the piece that moves was a great idea, probably the single thing I'm impressed most with if this works. Why did you say "use music wire in the future", PissBacon? Great work again. I too would like to see how durable this is when it all dries, range test it, and see a video of the mechanisms.

Thanks for the compliments. Music wire, in a hobby store, is that stuff similar to coathanger metal, but more uniform and easier to work with, not to mention it comes in different diameters. For these reasons it's preferable to use if I were to do it over again. Why did you say "use music wire in the future", PissBacon?
It's incredible how busy I've been lately; this project's full documentation has been put off for months because of all the things I've been dealing with. Hopefully some weekend I'll get around to a video and/or some accurate ranges.

No, because springs require shells, shells require ejection, and ejection requires a whole different type of barrelJust wondering...do you think it would be possible to put the clip on the bottom side and spring load it?...u know like boltsnipers gun?
Dude, fucking sweet. Bolt action is like, the new spandex.

**insert Yoda voice** Spring magazines are the path to the FAR side. springs require shells, shells require ejection, ejection requires a different barrel, a different kind of barrel leads to the FAR, the FAR leads to fear (of the FAR), fear causes anger (at the FAR), anger causes hate (of the FAR), hate causes suffering (dished out by FAR). I sense much FAR in you. **end Yoda voice**No, because springs require shells, shells require ejection, and ejection requires a whole different type of barrel
I don't know why but Oddball's post made me think of episode 1 (shudder), and a logically the best example we have of a spring fed magazine gun is Boltsniper's Fast Action Rife.

Shush, let us have our delusions and silly quotes, don't ruin it with your logic!Spring-loaded clip don't have to have shells.
Just look at ompa's clip mod.
I suppose you're right though. Ompa's clip system may be shell less and more simple, but the FAR is just so damn cool.
