The waffle jokes were pissing me off, mainly because it wasn't funny.
And sorry Baggy, but the waffles weren't funny.
The Whole Point Of the Stupid Waffle-conspiracy was to point out how utterly ridiculous the thread had become, look at how I Posted A Question initially, Then Edited It to show we had things figured out. But the Paranoia continued, so I pulled the silliest Conspiracy I could think of and now everyone is dogin on the Waffles!? What the Crap? It’s just Wack Yo. no, not wigity-wack, just the normal kind... I Appoligize for helping that thread continue on Far Longer than it should have, but at the time I thought it was the funniest thing in the world, I HAVE NO REGRETS! ...well...maybe some...
Bringer Of Pure Silliness,
-Bags

Don't call it a comeback, I never left.

I was camping for 5 days, so I totally missed all of the excitement; I feel so left out.
No jokes about that, please.
Not in the game anymore, but it was great while it lasted. Thanks for the great years of fun, NH!

On the other hand, it was just a forum, it doesn't govern my ability to nerf, or my ability to just pick up a gun and shoot at a target indoors, something we could all benefit from. But still, C, don't ever leave again. Nub knees went to jelly.

The command my host recommended to use is:
mysql -u yourusername -pYOURPASSWORD dbname < somefile.sql
Take note that there is no space after the -p.

While I'd admit it seemed wierd at the time, I sure didn't lose any sleep over it.
On Pudding
"Product will be hot after heating"
On a Sweedish Chainsaw
"Do not try to stop with hands or genitals"
(Was alot of this happening somewhere? MY GOD!!)

Oh Fuck. I had already requested and received SSH access too. I wanted to be able to chmod instead of using their stupid control panel. Didn't even consider the possibility that I might be able to work with MySQL via command line.mysql -u yourusername -pYOURPASSWORD dbname < somefile.sql
Thanks for the tip. It will be very useful at some point in the future.

If you get permission errors and support verified the command was correct, save yourself a lot of time by asking support switch users with the su command and have them investigate the problem. That's what I had to do.
Now it works fine (or at least for now).

I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,

It depends who is informing you of the infraction. The easy answer here is that we use both methods. More often than not, we will reply to one or more of your posts with grievances. It is advised that you fix those grievances. My best advice is to follow the CoC, and you shouldn't have major problems here.Do i get like a Pm or something as a warning first or is it just a cold blooded booting?
By the way, using "I" instead of "i" is a great place to start a road to improvement.

I don't think you're likely to be suspended. Keep in mind that it's the lamest 1.5% of our userbase that ends up suspended.

When I was suspended, all of the forum content was locked for me. All of the menus were disabled, and I couldn't even view the board index.Being suspended doesn't prevent you from reading any of our content, just posting.
Not in the game anymore, but it was great while it lasted. Thanks for the great years of fun, NH!

This is kind of late for you, but either logging out or clearing cookies will take care of that. NerfHaven doesn't require membership to read the forums so if you don't log in you can read the forums. When I was suspended, all of the forum content was locked for me. All of the menus were disabled, and I couldn't even view the board index.

Well then, that's why the suspension works so well on people like me; I had no idea I could do that...., but either logging out or clearing cookies will take care of that...
Rather sad for a person whos been here so long, but oh well. Thanks for clearing that up.
