Daedalus II
VS Daedalus I
Size Comparison
EDIT: Crap, wrong directory. I'm not sure if this counts as a homemade or a mod.

EDIT: 5 minutes after this picture was taken, I pumped it too much and the valve mech shot out of the gun.

pool noodle body, foam orb (obtained from McMaster) warhead, and craft foam fins.
Just for you, Groove, I'm sure you remember the D.C. war, right?
I know I could have have just ordered replacement missiles from Hasbro for $3, but mine have the advantage of being bright pink. That and it's launched off a 1/2" PVC pipe segment. (Which can be removed from the coupler, and easily replaced with a shot-gun attachment, etc.)

Here's my first and only so far attempt at making a home made. I call it a the K100. I got lazy and didn't buy a reducing bushing, I should have, because the way I did it actually decreased the room for the plunger to travel.

It definitely one of the biggest homemades ever made, if not the biggest (definitely not a product of practicallity, though) It has a 4" PVC Plunger Tube, which is currently manual, but I plan on adding bungees and a large catch mech to make it a semi-springer (semi because it'd be bungees rather than a spring)
It has eight 2.5' long steel barrels that are capable of flinging 5-10 tagger darts at a time with ranges up to (hopefully) 100' angled. I say hopefully because I have not fully range tested it yet, but I do know that it is capable of 30' flat at least, testing it indoors. (I expect the bungee upgrade to drastically increase performance)
The turret is fully removable, but it's definitely not coming off unless you want it to. I left it open for better turret designs that may come to me later on.
I have also made a base for it, which can swivel 360 degrees and move a little vertically. (There's obviously no way in hell anyone is carrying this thing, it's at least 5' long and over 20 pounds)
The turret is manually rotated, with a brass breech that is inserted into the barrel for a better seal. It only takes about 3 seconds to move to the next barrel, so the rate of fire is decent (about one blast every 5-10 seconds)
And before I get any flames for spending way too much money on a retardedly huge and impractical gun - I don't give a shit, keep it to yourself. I know this thing is an awkward clusterfuck - that's the fun of it. I'm making it because I can, and because it's fun. Maybe it'll turn into something more practical later, maybe not. At the very least, I enjoyed building it.
Probably dead by now, or something.

My APC 6. I made it because of the lack of power in nerf ballistic ball guns. So one day I decieded to make this, It only cost about 20 bucks and got all the necessary parts from the Home Depot. It's pretty much a bigger version of a homemade ball valve dart gun. I got the idea from nerf haven modifications. The pressure is built by a bicycle tire valve. I'm very happy with it. Dont know if somebody already came up with something like it.

Update, I redid the rifle for a more streamlined and less bulky look, a 2' long sch80 barrel complete with ported barrel tip makes it one hell of an accurate rifle. Range is a 80' with 5 pumps, but I think the barrel is too long.
Nice gun dude.
That thing looks really powerful. I would be very scared. I really wouldn't want to be looking down the barrel of that thing!

Very pleased with it.
Edit: The barrel angle has been adjusted but the picture also exaggerates it.

Please refer to the Code of Conduct. The slightest of slightest searches would have turned up everything you could possibly want to know about the +bow and more.
