Functions very smoothly, priming system is bitchin, and it's super melt-in-your-hands comfy.
Slightly more recent project.
Rainbow in an Xploderz shell. This shit is over 4 feet long!
The shell sucks of course, but all the fabricated components are fantastic.
Built this one for outright power, using the plusbow method. (There's a reason Plusbows are known for being more powerful than any other 1 3/8" PT [k26] powered homemades. Can you figure it out?)
Group shot! Current homemade primaries.
On the bottom is my wicked awesome shotgun HAMP, 5-7 darts per shot, crazy draw=crazy range. Ask a Minnesotan how this does in DTC.

This is also a Snap pistol. Works OK. I really just made it to make sure I could make the Snapbow.

These are the parts. The barrel is a 2ft. copper pipe with a plastic casing I spray painted black. The Other part consists of the handle and dart loading chamber.
The clip slides onto the chamber and fits pretty tight. The darts enter through the hole I cut. When the barrel is pulled forward, the clip pushes one dart into the chamber. When the barrel is slid back, the dart pushed into the chamber is pushed into the barrel and loaded. It's very silent, gets 50-70 ft. range, and quite accurate.

You get the Shinobi CO2-1.
I have managed to get back in a field to test the flat range and i am pleased to say that i got an average distance of 99.2', my max distance was 101' and my min distance was 98', i didnt mod the blaster any further i just modded stock darts which has made a difference of 20' and can withstand the power of a CO2 blaster, i am currently writing up a pdf for the darts which will soon be available upon request.
This is a CO2 powered single shot Nerf Blaster, it has a range of 99.2' flat, it features a 3-9x40 Telescopic sight and a red-dot laser sight.
Tech Specs:-
CO2 Capacity:12g (95 Shots)
Ammo: Red Arrow Spitfire (High Performance Nerf Darts)
Range: 99.2' Flat, >180' 30deg Elevation
Main Body: Walther Nighthawk CO2 Pistol
Barrel & Stock: Silver Rod CB Antenna and Double Eagle Bits.
This blaster would never be used in a Nerf War, it is a concept model for demonstration purposes only.

A traditional plusbow. It was my first polycarbonate homemade and I think it turned out pretty nice. Wooden Handle, 100% seal, 1/4" side plate.
Also, it has full compression.

It is very sturdy for being just gooped together.

One with a +bow catch, one with a rainbow catch. They both perform the same, but the Rainbow one was much easier to build. The one with blue bow arms is going to Keo, The other is mine. Each have 7.5 inches of draw.
Also made a Tornadobow X/2 a while ago:
DCNF 3 participants know how much I like my +bow...
Added a Thumbhole stock to this bad boy.

Tubes in tubes in tubes, man!
(This was when I was looking for a zip-tie to hold the tubing. I could not find one because this place is a disaster. However, drilling holes worked!)
Even with a disaster of a plunger head (fuck you Kane), three inches of draw (fuck you Ice9), and other weird, assorted problems, it shoots out of a hopper okay.
The end goal is to make a real gun that drops all the spring bullshit and compression distance out to make things more wieldy.
Gonna call it the TOUCH MY DANGUS blaster. Everyone else has to call it that, too.
MORE IMPORTANTLY IT'S THE FIRST ONE LIKE THIS, EDWARDS.

Super comfy and easy to pump. Both the EPVAT and pump are held on with copious amounts of hotglue, with zipties for the pump as well. As for ranges, gets over 250' with a 2' CPVC barrel and double bb stefans, and makes single bb hotglue dome stefans spin out at 70' with the same barrel. With a 7-shot absolver, gets around 70' with a 8'-10' spread. With my long 3-shot absolver, gets 100' with 5'-7' of spread. With my 19-shot absolver, gets 50'-60' with about 15' of spread.

I took bits of the PAPbow by Lt. Stefan and Ryan's Pumpbow that I liked best.
Mad props to Lt. Stefan for the catch and supa' comfy handle.
Uses 1 piece side plates and aluminum bar/UHMW priming system.
shoots a million feet.

PumpSNAP with Raider furniture and 18 inch ported CPVC barrel.
Hits full compression with a full [k26], 7 inches of draw.
Here's the SNAPbow:
Wood thumb-hole stock and painted.
And finally an AaBow:
For those mainstream Nerfers that are wondering about the ball valve, it's supa-low resistance, Swiss-made. You've probably never heard of them.

Recent posts about the Defender prompted me to finally modify my own. I prefer the grip and overall heft of this blaster over the Nite-Finder, and the spacious shell houses more of the plunger tube than a NF.
The cut out panels were inspired by Chops. I saw his a long time ago and thought they looked sweet so I tried it out. They could use some more sanding and smoothing.
Primed. 6 inches of draw with a 1" ID plunger tube. It does indeed shoot ropes.
