Indoor Building Open To The Nerf Community

Here is the deal; I have workers in there during the weekdays, so weekends would be better: however, given the lack of daylight. We can play at night I have lights throughout the building. If we do play at night I will ask that everyone chips in a few bucks, electricity is not free. Also the first three floors will be restricted due to construction but that leaves another 6 to play on though.
I will not set a date, ideally I would like clans to contact me, or if a group of individuals can make a certain date I will try and accommodate them as best I can. Since I don’t know any of you personally a waver will need to be signed waving rights. Also since I own the building it will be uninterrupted battles that can go on for some time, lights are nice. And multiple floors mean multiple battles and themes. The building zip is 26003.

Other than that, good luck. Most of us VANS guys have Nerfed in a nearby warehouse, it's pretty sweet. (Cxwq may post VANS4 pictures)

And where exactly did I mention renting anything? I do remember inviting people to come and nerf with my friends and myself though.

I also think Hunter meant "Location of where your war site is", not where you live. Obviously you won't be nerfing at your home.
I'd do a double check on your property insurance and see if there are provisions for medical, emergency transport, and such, in the unlikely event anyone gets injured; you're in the business so I think you know what I mean. Either that or you'd get stuck with the bill.
Keep everyone out of the construction zone, no matter how tempting it may be (it's always fun when the building is in a state of renovation). Hazards everywhere. And OSHA would have a field day if they made a surprise inspection on a weekend.
And finally, make sure your support services (bathrooms, a/c, etc.) are in working order. Nothing like sweltering in a building when the A/C goes off, or flooding if the toilets overflow.
I'm just giving you some friendly advice...Nerfing with close friends in the comfort of your environs is one thing, when you invite any and all into your privately owned property, you are putting a lot on the line...that's why most of the Nerf community goes to public parks/ outdoor fields.
Great idea, though!
Put up some pics of your indoor Effeminates; I'm sure everyone is as curious as I am on your "large scale" wars.

Yes, I meant where in the world do you live as in where in the world would you and your building be. Giving me a ZIP code wastes alot of time, buddy.
I got the "rent" impression because you implied having people contact you instead of organizing a war yourself, and you mentioned money.
Yeah, I read the post, numbnuts.

I'm really skeptical of this. It seems to me if you own a building that you intend to use for a medical billing company, it doesn't make much sence to Nerf there and screw it up. And if you are in the business you should also realize just how directly this idea falls into the "shit that could land me in prison" catagory.
Now I'm not trying to call you a liar, even if I think that to be true. What I'm saying is that this whole idea doesn't make much sense. I'd be all about nerfing inside, but most of these dudes are using pretty powerful weapons, and every indoor battle (the word ambush is more appropriate) I have participated in with modified guns has turned out in blood. Not to mention if you have a building, I'm going to assume you used dry wall. And dry wall is completely destroyed by darts. Drywall is expensive, and spacle sucks. So if you have this new building, you know your drywall will be ruined, cost you money and time, and your worried about the lights? This seems risky as hell on your part, and shady as a pet store owner carrying a case of lollypops in a station wagon past an elementry school.
Again, I have no proof, but something is just setting off my bad-fucking-idea-o-meter. Sorry dude,
Talio.

Also to clarify myself I have about 10 guys I nerf with regularly, what I want is not to have a huge open war with a ton of people I don’t know, but an invitational kind of thing. Say a few guys have a weekend free and want to come out, or some of the jersey guys want to carpool here. From reading the war post here it always seems that 4 or 5 guys can make one date and not another, or that you guys have some difficulty with cops or such. I am just trying to give you guys some options, share the wealth that kind of thing. Plus it gives my guys some new competition and sharing of the love of the game.
But by all means I have no problem answer questions so keep them coming. And I will work on the pics.

1. You didn't give us a definite location, and have still yet to do so (it's been said, I know).
2. You have no other contact information listed besides email or PM.
3. The fact that you own this place seems to imply that you are over 18, or your parents aren't in a position to have control over their kid. How old are the guys that you nerf with? How old are you?
4. No one here has seemed to met you from what I can tell. I appluad you for trying to host a war, but it's typical practice for the person running an invitational to attend other wars before they take on a feat such as this.
5. The building you describe to me seems a bit odd for a medical billing company or a furniture place. You mentioned that that the building was mostly empty, except for a few offices. I don't mean to declare myself an expert on building or business, but that does not seem like an ideal building for such a company.
6. I am going to make no secret that I am pretty damn skeptical about all of this. Feel free to disprove everything I just said, but until then I feel that this whole topic is pretty shady and encourage people not to reply to this until he gives out some more info. This just sounds like a plot to adbuct/kidnap a bunch of teenage boys if you ask me.

Everybody should be thanking this guy for offering such a kick ass war, and for putting up with everyone calling him a liar (but saying that they aren't, just in case).
And 1/2 newb 1/2 retarded was a day late and a dollar short to jump on him for not saying where it was.

And as for the allocations, please like mantis said stop dreaming. I have a very hot girlfriend whom is cool with my nerfing, which makes her worth her weight in gold as far as I’m concerned. I also coach high school soccer, not sure how it is in other states or in public schools, but the private schools do background checks as well as profiles before they let you coach oh and you have to take a state certified class, it is a bit of a hassle but I believe all sports should do this. I’m in my third year coaching now.
For all of you none believers.

You should handle this in a mature and adult fashion so you don't get your pants sued. I know this sounds over the top, but it'll keep you out of trouble.
I, personally have had legal training and I can tell you that if you don't get this right, your screwed.

hs soccer team of 35 guys who beg me to have practice at my building so they can play, not to mention all my friends whom I’ve been nerfing with for 10 years. I understand how the wars work on this site, but in my case it just doesn’t seem to make much sense to drive 5-6 hours to nerf when I have the ideal setup where I am not to mention an eager supply of people to nerf with. Wars anytime of the night, enclosed space so dart lose is minimal, weather not an issue, no hassle from anyone, can build and leave bases and floor designs. The point is I don’t need to invite people off the boards in order to have wars, I am trying to be a nice guy and give everyone an opportunity to have as much fun as I do and I would appreciate people stepping back and taking a look at what it is that I’m offering.
I do not want to set a date so a mass of people I don’t know come to my place. I have no desire to post information up for everyone to view.
I do want groups of people to come in for wars from a clan or similar area. I do want people in the area to contact me and hopefully we can set something up. I do want to be in contact with everyone who plans on coming before they get here. I do want to talk with responsible people who wish to have fun. I will email pictures and directions to people who wish to know more about this. I will have my lawyer draw up something to protect my company for people to sign. I already have wars weekly with 10-15 people, more if I’d let them come. I would like to have other groups come in have some fun. Just pm me your email and we’ll be in touch.
Oh and BK thanks for trying to lookout, but for the record I was on a nationally ranked mock trial team for two years in college and got a 167 on my LSAT, before going overseas.
