Have you ever heard of Rolling Stone magazine or MTV?I was wondering how many people had heard of Nirvana...
Nirvana was huge in the 90's, along with the rest of the Seattle grunge scene.
I'm a fan, though I may be biased since I think the best thing to come out of Nirvana was Dave Grohl. Nirvana is more than "known", they are still really popular. Anyways, my favorite Nirvana album is the Unplugged MTV performance. Something about how stripped down it is. Or it could be the fact that I'm not as angsty as some of you kids out there.

Ok, I am not a huge Nirvana fan, I like Nirvana music, but I don't think it's anywhere near "the best". It's very enjoyable, though.Mmmm, angst. I never got into them mostly because they did what they preached against.
In any case, my point: They did not perform what they preached against. You are a scallywag. I would like to see your counter-argument and give me a few examples... mostly because they rarely preached.

Too bad that many other watered-down bands have taken over mainstream music. Makes me want to never forget the good times of MTV during the early to mid 90's.

And you have shown everyone you don't know a thing about Nirvana.
Listen to before a football game? Nirvana songs don't pump you up, they mellow you out, in my opinion at least.
I heart nirvana.

I have nothing against them, I just don't dig their music, it never sounded all that special to me.

Deffinatly. I'm sorry but Kurt whines too much in his songs. Not my taste or style of music. Don't fight back saying he doesn't, you can't change the song, it sounds like whining to me. Atleast some of the songs I've heard. They're pretty good, but they're also the most overrated band of all time. You can't argue that.
You're a dipshit, stop posting.
I'll let you know when you can start again.

I just never liked them at all.
Not in the game anymore, but it was great while it lasted. Thanks for the great years of fun, NH!

Please tell me this post was sarcastic...What is better is Sonic Youth. My musical tastes evolved from The Smashing Pumpkins(sucky) to Nirvana(pretty damn good) to Sonic Youth(fucking awesome.)
Sonic Youth really is not very good. Their sound, their lyrics, their playing... I just... What? Awesome? Ugh. The Pumpkins were better, and thats not saying a great deal.
