Anyways, Let us begin. For starters, you want to take the whole thing apart.
Then, take the pump out, and plug the overpressure release valve with some nice hot glue. It's not plugged in the picture, but it's the little hole at the end of the pump shaft for those of you who don't know.
Then, put the pump back in, and it's time to get rid of that safety feature that doesn't allow you to shoot above 45degrees. I did it because I'm not going to use my feet to pump this thing, so I'm not exactly worried about shooting my eyes out. I wear glasses anyways. See those little ball bearings? You want to get those out. I pointed out the screws you need to remove to get those little buggers out. Take the balls out, then replace those peices.
Alright. Now, close the whole thing up again, it's time to work on the barrel. Take a stub of sch40 or sch80 pvc and make it about one inch long. Then, sand one of the ends so it looks kind of like this.
After that, take your sander and sand out BOTH barrels, the one at the base of the titan and the one that screws onto it.
Good. Now, stick that little barrel stub into the base of the titan barrel, and glue it in. Make sure it's straight, as it'll make your life much easier. Well, sort of.
Now, screw that big barrel on over it, and drop the coupler in, and use something to smash it onto the end of the barrel stub. I used my stock EAB barrel. Whatever works for you. Now, you're probably asking why couldn't you just put the coupler on before you screwed the big barrel on? Well, that's because the coupler is the same diameter as the threads on the base barrel, so you won't be able to fit it on. However, go ahead and try it anyways if you want to. I'll be here, laughing at you. Haha.
Now, to make the actual removeable barrel. I just took 14 inches of SCH80 pvc, and wrapped some masking tape around part of it so it was semi-secure when I put it inside the barrel. Make sure you keep something at the back end of the barrel so your dart doesn't fall into the barrel stub. It's a pain when you're shooting, trust me. I just stuck a 1.5inch segment of 17/32 brass in the back so it keeps my dart there. And all put together, looks like this. The coupler allows you to have a removeable barrel, AND the mod allows you to still use that uber-cool mega missle they give you.
Testing for ranges done at 23 pumps, little to no wind, measured with a walking tape measure:
172'
174'
195'
AVG: 180'
I plan to do testing at lower pumps, but maybe in a few days.
