Even more questions by me

I've just made my first hopper (around 10-15 minutes ago), but i don't have any materials to make stefan's. So i wondered if I could use cut down stock size darts?

Thanks in advance

Depends on the dart. What type of darts do you have? If they're elites then no.

I have some elite style knock-off darts with hard tips

I can get Men-Gun darts to feed reliably through a wye hopper provided the floor of it includes a teflon strip.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

For what it's worth, I've never been able to feed Men-Gun darts reliably in hoppers on any of my blasters (4B, +bow, ESLT, etc.), even with modified wyes. I have had luck with cut-down ACC darts in higher-powered blasters (consistent behavior out of my 4B, barring one war last year).

Slug, how short are your cut-down Men-Guns?

1-1/4" to 1-1/2" (typical artifact length). I have to shave a bit of plastic off the inside of the bend of the wye using a burr bit.

I've gotten cut down Mengun to feed reliably in a 3D printed wye, with a Brithop barrel.  That's off a chronically underpowered AABow, so I expect you could do it more easily with a more powerful blaster.

It depends on your bore honestly, I think you need a wider bore barrel Ice9 because stock darts are thick.

Otherwise, I recommend a wide bore barrel and these, these are great and don't have heads falling off, rated to as high as 103F and 22F using cheaper darts and based off a more reliable design that's been used for years. No wye fuckery, just a wider bore barrel (.509+ in ID preferred)
