[Vintage]

I want to make one of my AT2K's as condensed as possible. That means taking off the gauge that would only get in the way. I know many of you guys have used the AT2000 in your integrations (Ompa I know has) and I want to know what you did with th gauge.

I probably will try to clip off the yellow air tube at the pump end, hacksaw off the gauge at the takn end, and then find some vinyl tubing to connect the tank to the pump. Does this sound all right, or is their a better way? I tried to look up Ompa's X-bow/AT2K integration, but the pictures are no longer hosted.

Its been done many a time, not t worry. Just take off the guage, and glue the pump and valve together with some vinal sutbing. If you want the smallest 2k ever, youll have to look on the evil armory, Crestoffire I think, I dont remember the name. Anyways, its the smallest Your going to get, so I suggest you take a look at it for ideas.

If you really want to condense an At2k you are going to have to extensively mod the case. What I did was cut the whole top off the case leaving only the pump holding section and the handle. In order for the gun to operate once you have done this you will have to tape/glue the pull valve directly on the pump. If you can do this there will be no reason to take off the gauge, you even could make it an air reservoir if you like.

Listen to THIRST, that's one way of doing it. I just chopped off the tube on my gauge and filled in the rest with hot glue.

I don't know man, I'm leaning toward shiit's opinion. But I would reccomend after taking out the gauge, to do a dignale cut aimed \\\ that way from wh edge of where the gauge used to be, stopping right above where the back of the pump tube is supported. Amkes it very holsterable

Ok, I cut all of the rubber tubing from the gun. I then sawed off the gauge at the tank. Surprisingly, the little bit of orange plastic that was inserted into the tank came out pretty easily after that.

So I had a pump...and a tank. I had some really small vinyl tubing that fit very securely over the pump's air output tube. I found that the size was a little loose in the tank's hole, but I hope plumber's goop will fix that. It is drying right now.

I am doing all of this to integrate the AT2000 into another gun. I won't tell what one, because I will shock all of you when I post it!
