The new Zombiestrike Longshot is beginning to hit shelves
My question is: where are these shelves that the Zombiestrike Longshot can be found?
All this speculation and discussion can be ended if this question is answered.

Targets, I know that. However, a lot of people are having to dig around in the store's stockrooms because the stores have been waiting to stock them. A couple people I have seen have had to go in with a DPCI code and walked out with longshots.

My Target (Cincinnati) has them on shelves. No DCPI or backroom rummaging needed. I did not get to take a close look at them, however, and will not be able to get one anytime soon.My question is: where are these shelves that the Zombiestrike Longshot can be found?
All this speculation and discussion can be ended if this question is answered.

consensus seems to be a total rerelease of the longshot with a new paintjob and a few modifications to shoot elite darts

...a few modifications to shoot elite darts...
Could you be a little more specific?

I think it has something to do with a common jamming problem when loading elites into the old longshots. the dart tooth has been modified. im not really interested in the blaster, so i havent been following the conversation.Could you be a little more specific?

The dart door does not seem to be changed at all in spite of the elite dart jamming problems, and I'm almost convinced that the grease is the only reason my elite darts aren't jamming in it right now.
Probably dead by now, or something.

Regardless, I'd like to pick up a few.

Personally, I wish they still gave us the front gun, if for no other reason than to use its shell to make more NERF-styled pulse rifles. The feel of my old LS with the underslung FG is awesome, even if the FG's internals are essentially worthless.
Regardless, I'd like to pick up a few.
The best part about that is you KNOW people still have front guns laying around. I think there are going to be a lot of under slung panther tanks and the like. I at least have plans to try and fit one in the scope.

Maybe there's no Mcmaster, but you could make the first coconut airtank.

The only changes made to the internals are a slightly stronger spring and a copious amount of grease.

Having tons of grease couldn't fix the dart tooth problem, I am unsure of what the original problem was but the dart peg is a lot shorter, and yes the spring is a bit stronger. The excess grease is a bit annoying and again makes it look like it was rushed to be made. I still feel they were really cheap with the remake as they didn't even change the accessory tooth, besides making the spring stronger. I'm very surprised the scope is sturdy as nerf has a bad track record with that. i wish they made more changes, ambidextrous magazine release or the new style magazine release, and instead of the bipod remains a shotgun grip, or an angled fore grip, or even a tac rail i don't like the feel of where the bipod used to be.

But I can't get more than one shot off before it doesn't fire - I suspect it's some sort of lemon, but needless to say, it's very disappointing. It jams nearly every dart straight out of the box.
Oh, and maybe it's just me, but I noticed that priming left handed is now possible. The priming handle no longer locks up when pulled from the side with the clip release.
