Aaand that is everyone. You guys are awesome. Last minute modding to commence soon. I know I have beat this to death but everyone please look over the rules again. This is to reduce time spent explaining and increase time playing, which is something I think everyone can agree with.

The time draws near...

The park is large, so aim for the lot next to the Lawn Bowling area in the NW corner of the park (it's right off of highway 99). This is generally the least used area. If anyone is unsure I can provide my cell number to help you find our staging area. Google maps is your friend.

I see the Bowling Area. Can you give some guidance on where best to look for parking?

I just repainted the orange tips on my blasters. They're not all black- one's mostly OD green and the other is about 50/50 OD Green and black. I'm looking forward to the hello kitty duct tape though. I'm going to be using a lot of that. I modded my stryfe tonight to use a 9V battery but the flywheels are still drying (plasti-dip) so hopefully it'll actually work tomorrow, although I have my 9V Rayven also that I may bring anyway.

Also, there is parking along West Green Lake Way N but also (I think) there's parking on the road to the left of the lawn bowling area on that street that runs parallel to Aurora.

Thanks for the map, Taer. There are a lot of different places to park but the closest lot is literally right next to the bowling green and is accessible from Highway 99 or a road that cuts through the park. Our rally point is right by that bowling green, so that's a good landmark to shoot for. I will be there early and we'll be staking our claim so if you are near the bowling green you will see us.

See you guys tomorrow!

GREAT WAR! Fantastic turn out, some old timers and lots of new faces. Woodland Park offers many different playing fields suitable for different games. Huge props to Lizard Messiah and Namm for putting this together so smoothly.

Ho man. It was super awesome meeting all you kids, good to see familiar faces and some new ones as well. Thank you all so much for keeping things smooth and for all your help whether that was picking up darts, loaning out guns, giving me helpful advice when I was being totally dumb or just listening when it was needed. That made my first time hosting way less stressful. I had a real good time and I hope you all did as well!

As I said, next war is likely to be three weeks from now (yes, on a Sunday as that is my only day off). I would love to play with all of you again, you guys are great. Keep your eyes peeled for the new thread! I am also all about feedback! If you have suggestions/ideas I can't promise I will use them but I would love to hear what you think. This series is and will be a work in progress and I plan to keep improving it each time.

Also pictures are coming soon, we have some real gems.

THANK YOU ALL! SEE YOU SOON!

P.S. We have found the missing stock!

Group Pictures! (more soon)

We should have war photographers next time too! So look forward to even more awesome shit to look at! Trying to get my film-inclined friend to take video too...

More pictures in the album.

I'll try my best to be there, but I'll be there shooting pictures, not foam. Let's just say my "battle wound" was not well-received at home. :)

I picked up some of that Mortite weatherstripping putty and will try to make some metal-free darts. I have an idea for another blaster and may have it ready in time. If so, I may ask someone to test it out. We'll see.

See you at Woodland Park at the end of the month, family scheduling willing.
