The ocean is about 20 minutes away. There's also a river within spitting distance of the park (not the one you guys have encountered during wars, but that creek does connect to the river).

The date for Apoc is rapidly approaching and at this time, I am wondering if anyone has any numbers for me in terms of attendance. I'm not asking for any exact numbers, but an estimate would be nice. If there are any special arrangements needed, please start asking for them now, so I have time to fulfill your request.

This would be a good time to take inventory of your darts and guns to see if anything needs to be done to them. No ammo or guns will be provided by any of the war organizers. It is up to the participants to supply their own guns and ammo. You may borrow/lend, but I wouldn't count on it.

Remember, August 1st 2004 at Mill Creek County Park, NJ from 11-6. Be there.

I'm showing...Josh may come...we'll see. Probably whats going to happen is groove is going to drive here, and we'll then drive together to Millcreek, seeing as he doesn't know the 1337 short cut. Dickinson will not be attending...he's in Disney that week. I'll see about the other guys, but they're not exactly reliable.

Fred and I will be there at the very least. If anyone's got a spare primary lying around that we could borrow, we may bring more. I royally fucked up that 1500 aluminum thing I had at ECNO, so I don't know if I'll have a spare gun by then. We'll probably max out at 4, but don't really expect more than Fred and I.

I'd say there's a very good possibility I could make it, I just need Talio to help me get part of the way. Talio, next time I see you on AIM, lemme get your address and see how bad the drive is.

I'll give it to you, but I'll tell you straight up, it's going to be about 4 and a half hours to my place, and then another 2 on the way to Jersey. Like I've told you, that is two hours of rest and possibly sleep on the way up there. If anyone else comes from my group (highly unlikely) they all can actually drive again, so it's not even a situation. But if you were to drive the whole way, you wouldn't get the fun short cut that saves a fortune in tolls. Either way, I hope you make it. We'll be the lone micro users.

So you're posting on a message board hopeing to plan a local event, and you've heard from fewer people from your own group (most of whom you see in school and all of whom live in your town) than people from outside your group?

What if all of us show up and you're the only one from the LCM? Sounds like how it goes at an LGLF event.

The thing about that statement is that most of the LCM never knows if you're actually going to follow through with the actual plans for a war, Langley.

Ok, I may be a geek, but I stumbled upon this site, and after finding all my friends houses, and places I like to vacation, I decided to take a look at millcreek from the top. I may go back and mark so of the stuff, but you can clearly see the bathrooms, pavilion, and boardwalk. Kinda neat, but I was bored. Enjoy.

Same time, same place as noted before. If I seem to be leaving something apparently obvious out, please feel free to remind me. I'd rather not have one of those "Oh Shit...." moments the day of the war.

Well, I had a few choices, and I am fucked any way you look at it.

1) Buy a plane ticket to Philly, about $500 I don't have ~ and spend the rest of the summer paying back my parents like I did last summer with Armageddon.

2) Drive by myself up there, roughly 4 & 1/2 hours, and book a hotel, and hitch a ride with Talio from the hotel all the way to NJ. Couldn't do it with anyone else because there's nobody around me that wants to go besides...well, me and my dad is disabled so he can't spend more than 2 - 2 & 1/2 hours in a car.

3) Buy a train ticket to Deleware and have Talio pick me up and drive me to NJ, and pay off the debt to my parents.

Can't do any of the above, so unless someone invents teleportation by Sunday, I'm afraid I cannot attend. If I had more time to plan all this out I'm sure I could of found someone like El Hombre who lives in Roanoke to come with me, but it turned into a last minute thing. Hope you all understand.
