Anyways, I'm doing a poll for school psychology class, and it's about hobbies people have, that society tends to look down on, or deem as nerdy.. Such as teenagers and adults playing with nerf blasters.
Another's example I was given was "bronies". Now I have no friggin clue what that is, but some that I thought of were again, nerf blasters in older children/adults, MMORPG's such as runescape and WoW, or role playing/cosplay type events. These are not my personal opinions, as I'm a fan of all 3. I need help coming up with a few more, and then I have to do a poll, which I would hope members of the forum would be willing to vote in. The minimum number of hobbies I need for the poll is 8. So if you could comment some hobbies you tend to associate with being lame, nerdy, or whatever derogatory words you wish, that would be great

And yes, this sounds really stupid, and I think it kind of is, but I hope that people take it somewhat fractionally serious..

1. Play those fantasy board games such as war hammer
2. Ride Segways.
3. Play card games such as Yugio and Pokemon.

Ps. Psychology is a great class I had it last year! You learn a lot of weird shit.

Ha, band.... But back to the topic, in my rural school in the middle of no where, minecraft and soccer are both pretty big "anti-cool people activities"

At my school, and I have nothing wrong with this, cosplaying (is that how it is spelled?) is something nerdy. Also, so is playing games without guns, mainly fantasy video games. My school is weird.
EDIT: Wait, you already said cosplay. Oh, well. At least I am backing up your statement.

mine craft I would say fits under the MMORPG'S category. And I would have to exclude soccer, as its a sport, and jocks....well ya know.

Is stamp collecting still a thing? If you can find a fanbase community on that somewhere I would view that as the rock-bottom of Nerd hobbies.

Do you have to do a report on any of these hobbies, or just make a poll? A feel like cosplay/larping would be an interesting topic as most people have a general idea of what they entail yet have not dove into or really observed what it is. Good luck with your project.
