The Difference:
-Guns shoot bullets that kill people
-Blasters shoot darts that tag people

I do not play with guns.

Don't worry so much about what other people will allow. Throw your own wars and kick your friends' asses until they all want one.

I will say in no uncertain terms that this group was one of if not the most accommodating collection of attendees ever.  If I needed shit moved across the field: people helped. Setting up mobsticals: 4 people on each one.  Dart sweep after every round: every was on it.  Reconfiguring the field: 9 volunteers getting it done in only a few minutes.  We got one if not two more full rounds in than if people were just there to lounge between rounds, and I did not see anyone not pitch in at some point.  Thank you.  All of you.

+ShadowBat and company showed up to kick ass as always.
+4-team DTC worked, and it worked with a gradient of points for different ammo!  Expect this much much more!
+ The single most tactical vest EVAR worn by TacVestGuy.
+JudeWolf’s Pal, Turquoise Shirt guy, SunBurn, and Boss9’s other pal showing that anyone can make a crazy difference in a round even if they are new or not really hardcore about the NIC.
+Seeing Mongo darts in action. Me Gusta.
+Boss9/Umlaute/Boss’s other pal – eat some sandwiches and get fatter so I can keep up.
+KashimiTim – for bringing a crew including, but not limited to, Elvin Archer who I enjoyed many a stand-off with.
-Stupid “yellow” flagging tape and “green” flagging tape not having a conversation about what colors yellow and green actually are.
+Amy’s ability to slow like 4 people’s progress in Territories with a NiteFinder.  JUST a NiteFinder.  And no cover.  Diz-am.
+Territories worked!  On both a large AND small-scale/pistols format!
+Dirty Dan – continuing to raise the bar in every category.
+Played my personal fav game off all time: Mosh Pit!  Didn’t even go for the flag, just hung back and HAMP’ed in all your faces.
Dommers showing me how awesome I must looking holding The Flesh.
+NewsTeam – Constant. Unrelenting. Positivity.
+DeamonLoad (giggity) shooting a Titan Missile out of a tree one his SECOND SHOT!  Also that he showed up.  If I had to pick one I’d take the second.
+Busting repeated massive HAMP’y loads on everyone and everything in sight.
-Not getting to bitch about my HAMP breaking.
+That younger boy who ran around and dart-swept ALL DAY!  I gave him most of my freebies but it was in no way fair compensation for all the effort he gave.
+Tron/Starkles/VenPants/Velveeta – Go to hell and eat every dick on your way down.  I hate you more than the clap.

overall, it was a great war.

+There were like 25 people there, and tons of new people!
-One of my guests couldn't come, the other had to leave early.
+Even though I finished at 4 AM the morning of, I had enough darts, for the first time in a while.
+Dart recovery was EXCELLENT. And we didn't even spend much time sweeping.
+Mongo darts were a massive success. It was awesome to be able to use my big blast again- I still think SonReeseSonJensen should reconsider the ban.
+I counted, and I didn't lose a single Mongo!
+Pistol rounds! I love 'em.
+My SupaPAC diddled asses all day long. Too ridiculous, too effective. My arms are sore from using it, and I'm sure others are sore from being on the other end of it... Oops.
----My 2k died the first time I took it up to 6 pumps, even though it usually takes 8. I was super stoked to use it.
+Getting home and realizing the 2k was an easy fix
-I realized my camera is too shitty to take good videos. I had some mounting problems too.
+Got some great trades in.
-As usual, didn't finish a lot of things pre-war.
+game types were all excellent, and well set up.
-The war ended too soon
+-4 team dtc was fun, but no one was defending.

I'm already working on a Mongo hopper, and something to make the SuperSoaker legal. Stay tuned!

This thing was badass. Legit shit eatin' action if you ask me!

I had a great time! The sm750 was preforming well above its norm, so I think I got some mad hit percentages in. Also had a lot of fun using a Rayven during the DTC round. I need to invest in more 18 round clips, it's nice to have a few shots to burn on your way to the core.

There was a lot less defending on DTC then we're used too, but I thought all the rounds ended up being superbly balanced. They really rewarded the teams that were constantly rushing the objectives. (except for mosh pit, where I'm pretty sure that non-exploding hamp got me out every single time I came close to the princess!)

Every time you shoot someone with a SupaPAC, you spend another century in Purgatory.

Good times. Though, my hatred of hoppers has been reinforced. Luckily, I can finally start modding again in a week, so I'll be able to fix that.

+My new bow worked well.
+Game types worked. No issues with spawns or anything. Though in rescue the princess, the setup was kinda weird.
+Saw some really cool setups. Boss9's supersoaker shotgun was really fun to use
+Clusterfuck 360 DTC was really fun. It leads to the interesting question of whether to get darts in or to just trollololol.
+Territories lead to interesting situations
+No rain, some cloud cover
+Got a fun water gun from SonReece
+Friends showed up too
+Setup and cleanup went really smoothly
+Dart recovery was great

-My darts were just slightly too short, causing endless jams
-What the heck is this unfair gun?

Great war!

+Only round I missed was Meatgrinder, which is generally the worst round anyway.
+Really good group of people, no beef with anyone.
+SonReece being the best war host ever as usual.
+Very light rain, overcast all day, little wind, and optimal heat/humidity made for great nerfing weather.
+No sunburn.
+The Sceptor+Baby Bottle+Practice Paintballs performed fantastically.
+Shotgun hopper+Roto Rocket being dubbed "The Date Gun" (rather than the diddle gun, because it's legal). It performed very well, especially in the defend the core(s) round.
+General consensus on the practice paintballs: Some of the hits by them hurt slightly more than slugs, many people did not observe any difference. To me, I'd accept slightly more pain for absolute consistency and no risk of barreling darts with exposed metal/potentially flying metal tips/accidental diddle darts.
-Erik's overhauled 3k STILL being problematic.
+None of my guns broke.
+Dirty Dan being dirty and a consistent MVP.
+Landslide victory in DTC. Erik's HAMP can suck it!
+Going over to BOSS9's briefly after the war and seeing his awesome WIP projects.
+BOSS9 giving me an awesome deal on 1/2" Polycarbonate. Thanks again man, I really needed it!
+Erik buying me lunch for staying after to clean up.
-Crazy "time dilation" around lunch resulting in a longer break time than we intended. Oh well.
+Stark and Umlaut communicating in Wookie language all day.
+Not making a single dart for this war.
+Packing up the majority of my stuff the night before made the morning much easier for me.
-Younger guys being hard to hit!
+Seeing Derek perform exceptionally well with the classic turreted SM750.
+Chicago representation by Demon Lord!
+Confusion between Tim and Tim(my) was hilarious.
+Everyone going out of their way to give me back my practice paintballs. Really appreciated it!
+Good dart/ball recovery.
+Seeing BOSS9's converted Super Soaker, which is easily the most powerful blaster I've ever seen.

Stay tuned for a July mod party, guys!

+ Decent dart recovery

+ Hec 2 repurposement actually worked very well
+/- Zachs Sceptor with paintball practice balls

Wow, that's the most fun-filled action packed set of nerf photos I've seen in a while. We should play pistol territories more often!
