[Naes Draw]

Oh hey! It's a nerf war I almost missed! Count me for sure 16th, and if the 23rd is on, maybe. Now I got some moddin' to do!

Morning of the war, pumped and ready to go.

Whoot! So pumped! Just got up, eating breakfast, I'll be there by 9:30...

Whew, what a day! We had a solid 10 people, all of which were very nice and sophisticated....I came home with some sweet welts, as well, to make the experience a whole lot better . In my opinion, this was a great first DCNF/war in general, and I hope that we can continue DCNF in the future.

Pros:
-Obtained a crapload of stuff, from a whole lot of people. New projects, yay!
-Dart sweeps were smooth and fast, since everyone pitched in.
-Rounds didn't drag on for too long, which was good.
-Lunch didn't go over-schedule too much.
-There was soem great hardcore action going on today; especially Phree and his gang: they were EVERYWHERE!
-Phree's SnotBlast owning everyone.
-That Effeminate neckshot I got on Phree's guest, in the middle of his neck, without even aiming (he was around a corner, maybe 20ft. away, too.
-Getting to meat Majinn, Zack, Phree and his gang, Blitz, Naes Draw, and Aftershock: all amazing guys
-Getting to nerf with Landstricker again....uber cool guy!
-Phree's uber trunk full of stuff
-Aftershock's amazing use of his Stampede, especially during DTC: I MUST build one!
-We didn't run out of water.
-....and a whole lot more

Cons:
-Darts starting melting on the blacktop. We should find a different staging area (grass?) next time.
-Quite a bit of time (more than ideal)
-My RCP and 3K breaking on me mid-war.
-We need to keep better track of who's water's whos next time (from the cooler bin, which I'll definetely continue doing, even if I'm not hosting), so that there's not as much waste due to "ZOMG WHICH ONES MINE?!?! I no like germs!"


Overall, great war. Hope you guys all enjoyed it! It was a blast to host!

This was honestly my favorite war I have been to, to date.

It was super awesome meet some new nerfers, and play for a 2nd or third time with others.

Pro:
+Being able to bring some of my posse to enjoy the day with me
+I had enough darts and primaries for myself and my guests to use
+Chaos was an excellent host and supplied all the things needed to make a war run smoothly
+Meeting all the other guys was awesome, and I hope to nerf with them again soon
+THE LOCATION WAS AWESOME. No lie, this is the best location I have ever nerfed at
+Didn't injure myself
+About 75% of my darts were recovered
+/- Got pulled over for the 1st time ever on the way there.....but didn't get a ticket!

Cons:
-Broke my RBP before any of the rounds even started
-Didn't sell nearly as much stuff as I would have liked
-Lost defend the core....I am a sore loser

Overall it was an awesome day. I hope this DCNF thing really takes off, and I would be glad to host a war as well in a future DCNF. As said before, Chaos, you did an awesome job and it was an honor to Co-host with you. To all attendees: You guys are supa l33t and it was a great day from start to finish.

Other then that, and the sunburns, and the attempts at passing out, it was great! This host guy here was a boss, even if he did make girly noises at one point. Props for the water man, life saver.

Will make an attempt at showing for the next one for sure. I had fun, still have most of my darts too!

That was a seriously kickass $%#$^ %^&*%^* ^%*^&% batman war. I mean really. Also my first with guys from the NIC!

Pros:
+none of my blasters breaking, 'cept for the splat which was being silly in the first place.
+Seeing some REALLY AWESOME GUYS. Naes Draw, Chaos, Land, Phree, Aftershock, Majinn and Zack. I gotta do this again.
+That blob round was amazing, I was the last one standing.....
+TEAM QUADSHOT. Awww yeah.
+Phree's snotblast thing was pretty awesome. That speedloader hurts though.
+Getting all that stuff from people.
+Capture the flag was cool too, I will forever be a commie.

+/- Phree's rainbowpump breaking, not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

Cons:
-Getting some kinda nasty shots on people, I'm really sorry about that.
-General breaking of blasters, RBP, RCP, 3K, that just sucks.
-The darts melting, what's next, our faces?
-Leaving early.
-getting stuck like a pig with Phree's speedloader on his snotblast. Ouch.
-A massive headache driving home. Ughhhh.

I got some pretty nice action shots on my iphone. I think all the group shots that Blitz's mom (tell her thanks for that, btw, blitz) are on Phree's camera, IIRC. Phree has the footage too.

pros:
-great location
-every one was really nice and cool
-phree didn't murder me when I broke his rbp
-I got some great vintage blasters
cons:
-my baby( supermaxx 1500) popped
-I didn't get a dt3
-nothing really


We need to have more dcnf's in the future

Hey all, I'm hoping to come up and shoot some foam on the 23, but i'm kinda new and don't even have a modded primary yet. (Would be more than willing to trade/buy for one beforehand, as long as it looks nice and appealing.) Might have atleast +1 with me.)

It's gonna be HOT!!! This picture is from yesterday so the chance of rain has gone from 30% to 40%. If it does rain, it will most likely be in the late afternoon. BRING ATLEAST 2 BOTTLES OF WATER!!! Me and chaos will both bring a total of 14 bottles of ice cold water so if anyone needs extra, we got you covered. Please bring a hat. We will have 2 coolers to keep your bottles in. This week, I will be bringing a sharpie so we know who's bottle it is. We will have the staging area near the picnic tables so our darts won't melt.

Neat, I'm actually in a few shots. I have that scope, maybe I can find a cheap actioncam to stuff in it.
