This may sound like a dumb question, but uhh.. are nerf's own Melee weapons allowed ? UMD banned all but the Klaw Hatchet and the mace. I'm hoping atleast one of the Marauder(claymore) and shadow fury(I cut off half the top)are legal, cause that's all I have for melee.

Thanks, I heard they were, but I wasn't sure if Nerf's official N Force ones were.
Uncovered pvc and stuff isn't though right ? A guy with a pvc blowgun(no padding) once tried to thomp me with it. Luckily my mad ninja skills activated not only had me deflect it unharmed with my palm but got an eye shot with my modded spectre.

UMD nerf's rules can go die in a fire until they figure out what they actually want to accomplish. Most of them are arbitrary or put in place just because someone didn't like the fact that someone else's blaster shoots further than theirs. And they change every 15 minutes, when someone else has a problem and starts whining about it.

The forecast is calling for 101-degree temperatures on Saturday, with a heat index around 120. I'd recommend rescheduling for a week later just so you don't have the safety risk associated with the ridiculous heat, but then again I'm not hosting. If the forecast stays as is for Saturday, I'm out.

I agree with fully DizzyDuck about UMD rules.

If it's gonna be at Beall I can only make it if it's tomorrow or an increment of 2 weeks after. IE the 6th of August.

Yea, like i'm with my dad every other weekend and he's semi close to Rockville, and this is a weekend I can make it.

I have me and 1 guest. Hes kinda newish, even more than me. No modded primary either.

I'm gonna keep this war on. Just bring a couple of water bottles or gatorade and you will be fine. If you think you will not make it in the heat, just don't come. No ones forcing you to go to this war. I think we will have more time between rounds to drink water and cool off. I'll see if I can bring a jug full of water to use to cool off with. I'll also bring ice to keep water and stuff cold.

It's your call, but having experienced seeing someone collapse from heat exhaustion after physical exertion first-hand, I don't think a couple extra bottles of water are going to counter the effects of the heat. There's a reason all of these advisories are calling for people to stay indoors.

Keo, people usually use sunglasses, though I'd be hesitant about using super cheap sunglasses. I use safety glasses from a chemistry lab and I'll be bringing plenty of extras.

Also, on a different note and since I don't know where to find out on here, while packing my guns I found a stock good condition Warthog does anybody know the value of these things ?

Welcome home Cranky! Pumped to see all of you dc area people again after such a long time! Choas, thanks for the list. I might get a have a guest coming so put me as +1. Try to get to the war at 10am. Chaos and I will be getting there at 9:45ish to reserve our spot and to start setting things up. I will be handing out water bottles to everyone who comes tomorrow.

Keo, we will be playing dtc, tdm, ctf, VIP, and any others that you want to play.

It may be hotter than is advisable, but I rarely can attend a war so I'm gonna try and bear through the heat.

So this is all of the shit that I'm bringing tomorrow for the war.



I'm going to be video taping every round that I can (Including getting to the war and going back) so I can get a pretty good video to share with you guys. My dad will also be taking pictures throughout the war as well to help contribute to the video. If you guys have any pics that you want to be included in the video, pm me them after the war and i'll put them in the video.

If you guys have cell phones, please keep them on you at all times, due to the heat. We want to be as safe as possible.
