Inline clips. They're efficient and work with even low-volume pistols, and I've made an inline speedloader. The only drawback is their cumbersome length when using long barrels and large clips.

Multiple barrels make length not a problem.
It's also useful for zombie-slaying.

Pretty simple stuff.

Materials.
1 1/4" PVC Coupler
1 1/4" PVC (1.5" or so)
1" PVC (1" or so)
1/2" PVC
1/2" CPVC
Hot Glue
CA Glue
Space Filler (foam is nice)

A file/Dremel with grinding attachment/5/8" spade bit is also needed.

I started with a 1 1/4" straight coupler, and jammed three 1" stubs of PVC into it. If they don't fit, make them fit. I cut slots out. Then cut that end of the coupler to 1/2" or so.
Also build the other end, nesting pieces of scrap PVC to fit it. Glue with CA glue. Keep the two parts separate.

Barrel sealing using foam and hot glue. Epoxy to hold it together. Posted Image

Then drill/grind out the 1/2" PVC so 1/2" CPVC fits in it like a coupler. Get three 1" stubs of CPVC and file it out until darts can be pushed through with minimal resistance. They should be thinner than in the pic here. It will prevent darts from falling out when tilted.

Attach the two halves.
Make your PVC clips. Hammer your CPVC stubs about 1/2" in to the PVC.

And go shoot zombies. I can't test it for realz because the most powerful blaster I have is a weakened SNAPistol.
Normal range: 45'.
Test with single barrel: 25'. I think there's an air leak somewhere.

Also looking back on this, it's basically a PVC shotgun attachment with an inline. ._.

Travel Cost to TRU = $2. Eliminator pack = $15. Momentum testing = 2 lost darts. Outranging Recons with your mini pistol = priceless.

Although I'm not entirely sure what your end product is or how exactly it's intended to function: I think I've made something similar to this using various products from this page with very unreliable and mixed results. Although constructed differently, since you admitted to not really being able to test the attachment, I feel that my own experiences and attempts could be valuable:

On low powered blasters, it would shoot a single barrel until it ran out of darts at which point there would be no more resistance and would be the same as dry-firing.

On high powered blasters, it would simply eject almost all of the darts at once, giving you a large shotgun effect but no repeatable dart burst.

On somewhere-in-between blasters, well it would shoot somewhere in between. Maybe 2 inline clips would fire at once, then 1, then none at all, or perhaps an inline clip would eject all of the darts at once while the others remained full. Occasionally it would shoot 1 dart per inline clip and then do it again and it was beautiful when it happened but it certainly wasn't reliable. There are a lot of factors conspiring against you.

I'm sure you could make this reliable somehow if you tirelessly tweaked the barrel length, dart fit, and inline length as well as volume and power of air delivery but I had no such luck in making something that functioned how I wanted it to: ie. prime, pull trigger, 4 darts shoot at once - prime, pull trigger, 4 darts shoot at once - etc.

I'd be really happy to see more work and refinement on this in a way that could be repeated with consistent results but for now the best way to get a reliable and quick reload for a shotgun-like effect is to use a turret with the barrels packed with darts or hook hoppers up to multiple airtanks with a linked trigger.

Those are just my experiences however, so feel free to disregard them if you have something that works.

I made a 4-shot inline cluster as a big blast attachement. When i could prevent it from flying off when it was fired (large coupler times medium pressure = large force), it shot on average 3 darts per shot, and of course stopped firing when any one of the inlines was empty. So, it's kind of doable, but it takes more effort and skill than I was willing to put into the project at the time.

Alternatively, you could make shotgun shells with 2 in PVC and 1/2 PVC, and on the ends of the PVC, put RSCB'S.
Unfortunately, the PVC would have to be heat bent to give the couplers space. At that point, It would be better to use BRISC's.
If your darts and barrels were very consistent, that should work to fire 4 darts at a time. Not only would it be hard to replicate the same amount of heat bend, but your gun would weigh a ton and it would be absurdly front heavy.
