Well I got off my lazy ass and finished my SC map, it is called Nerf arena. You start with a nerfer with no clan (its a marine) and you get to join 4 groups. You can choose from, LGLF, LCM, 4 horsemen or no clan. As you get kills you can buy another nerfer with no clan or you can upgrade the men you have. Like with the 4 horsemen you start with Death with duel LNLs(it is a zergling) and when you get enough points you can upgrade to Famine with a Xbow(sorry but your an infested kerrigan). Star Craft, a real time strategy game. Released 1997, Broodwar expansion pack released 1998. Current version is 1.10. Blizzard games' pride and joy. Best seller apart from the Diablo series released by Blizzard North.

I've made a Nerf map or two in my days of glorious map-making. I actually did a revision and modification of one of the Matrix defense games; maybe it's still out there.

I have a few good maps myself. You're making me think too much; I want to make a Nerf map too.

Eh, no cd-keys needed to play starcraft if you already have the game somewhat set up in advance. Just have the people you want to play with log in to a different gateway than the B.net realms, one that doesn't check cdkeys.

The one I found is here: http://kronos.lortrader.com/ and the experience is pretty much the same as b.net, except that there aren't very many people on. I think they set up the server more for people playing mods of Diablo 2, but Starcraft works as well. The registry file was clean when I checked it, doesn't do anything funny, just adds the PKA gateway into your blizzard games so you can connect easily.

Sounds like a cool map leftnut, I'll PM you after I post this. As for SC vs. D2, I can't really say. I've been playing both for 3 or more years. SC is the best RTS ever known to man, while D2 is the best RPG known to man. Meh.

Hey Mystic, just out of curiosity, what do you play (ladder, hardcore, etc)? What characters? I don't know many people that play D2 anymore, so...yeah.
