Actually, funny story. In the MN road trip to ILLF, we left Zach at almost every gas station, restaurant, and store we stopped at.

As the war gets closer, the currently projected attendance of 20.75 NIC + X locals will either go drastically up or drastically down, as the current stock of probably attendees are tethered to each other.

Breaking shields qualifies as a hit on the person wielding the shield, and they must respawn. Shields will be limited to what blaster you're using. There will be no explicit rule set on shields. War hosts will regulate usage if needed. I.e. you can't use a sweet gun and a huge shield, or any for that matter.

I'm a maybe for this war. If I can raise the funds for gas, and barring unforseen circumstances, there is a good chance I'll be making it. I'll try to bring somebody along for the ride if I can as well. Maybe even more than one somebody - but that all depends on scheduling.

I'm going to assume that ball-shooting otherthings also break shields, and that sceptors were mentioned only because they have 4 times the range of the next best manufactured ballguns.

Yes. Usually the ruling is anything larger than three micros. I think we'll allow sceptor balls to break shields as well, unless they create problems.
