Seriously, no penis pumps or dildos on your Nerf blasters.

Would a pump plugged Berserker be banned?, because without plugging it the blaster only gets 70-75 feet.

A little clarification here: No pump plugged 4Bs, or internals. In this case, they're the same internals (to my knowledge), so no, you cannot plug your Berserker and use it.

Thanks, but you should stick to posting in the Awareness thread. This a war thread for people who are attending this war.

Fixed my problem, just replaced the pump with one from the yellow and black BBBB.

Seriously, the original post still says NOT to bring plugged BBBBs. If this isn't the case, it needs to be clarified.

What not to bring:
SLINGSHOT WEIGHTED DARTS
-Only Slug darts, single BB, or stock darts are allowed. No exceptions. Breaking this rule will result in you never nerfing with us again.
-Pump plugged 4B's, LBB's, Nat Geo blasters, Titans, Berserkers, or Signal launchers.
-Homemade air guns
-Anything else will be determined on a case-by-base basis determined by the hosts.
-Blasters that are painted black will be tossed in the lake. And that means RFDGs, and PASs. Put some bright colored tape on them or paint them a different color. Extremely bright blasters will be encouraged. We don't want any problems with the police.
-Kids who are ≤13 years old must have their parent(s) present.

Because no slingshot weighted darts are allowed, all gun bans are for safety reasons, since a high powered gun while losing effectiveness over range due to the lower weight limit, will still be high powered at close range.

Concerning plugged air guns, this is how I interpret the rules we will be playing with:

For singled air guns
Any air gun with greater air volume than the Big Salvo tank (Mega Missile, SGSL, NatGeo, BBBB, SGSL, to name a few) must have a functioning OPRV on it that relieves pressure at stock pressure. Pump replacements with bike pumps or ball pumps without an external OPRV are not allowed, neither is pump replacement with a unplugged Magstrike or similar pump since the smaller Nerf pumps are meant to work at a higher operation pressure.

Any gun with air volume greater than a Titan (cobra, jobar, tank expansions, etc.), as well as Titans, cannot be singled for ammunition < 1" diameter.

For shotgunned air guns
Any air gun shotgunned to 3 or more barrels can be plugged to your heart's content.

Well, I can go to one out of state war. I'm pretty sure this is going to be it. Before I book my flight and make my decision, does anyone have a place I can stay?

I'd offer but I'm kinda full already. I know I am hosting the U3 and the MN carpool. Ask Snake(Numbers). He has hosted people before, (or at least offered).

Hope you can make it.

Ok, I pm'ed snake about it. The problem is I only have 3 more days to order my ticket. If I don't, my mileage plus miles expire and I can't go anywhere. I really need an answer tonight because of reasons I don't feel like explaining. So, anyone that is going to this war and can give me a place to stay...Speak up. I will pay for my food and any gas you use taking from me the airport and the war. I can't stay at a hotel, I'm 14 (going to be 15 day after the war).

Put me down as a maybe + 1. It depends on if I'll be in Chicago that weekend. Most likely. Unless I have a midterm back home in VA.

I endorse a U3 v. Everyone Else round at five, seeing as some people will probably head out early. There's been talk of one for the past few wars and it would be nice to get it out of the way.

Can I get a ruling on megas?

I'm a 'maybe' as a lot can happen in the next 4 months. But my in-laws are only 16.4 miles away by google map...

-Blasters shoot darts that tag people

Either style is fine unless they're weighted significantly heavier than micros in which case you'll have to go slug style as megas cause more pain than micros at short distances (but lose energy faster so achiever lower ranges).

Wow, didn't realize that either. I'm sure most people traveling would have conflicting events that weekend. It would be better to have this another weekend.

I was just about to post that I'm a no-go as well due to Easter. If this can be moved to a different date, I'd be a very happy individual.

Neither my religious nor cultural belief systems interfere with the war. However if having it on Easter dampens attendance I'm all for switching it to another date.

LOL - my faith, isn't the issue here. If God doesn't mind me Nerfing, he doesn't mind me Nerfing the day before Easter. I can still go to church with dart-shaped welts and legs pleasantly aching from running. :D (After all - we Nerf in the church from time to time - usually on a Saturday evening!)

The fact that my wife and I spent Easter with my (local) family last year, however, means that we will be spending it with her (out of town) family this year. That makes it impossible for me to plan anything else for that weekend. If the date is changed to another weekend, I will do my best to make it barring any unforseen complications arising from the impending arrival of my latest offspring (due May 9th). I would suggest April 10th, but that is already the date set for the Back to Basics war that was initially scheduled to take place after Cataclysm.

@ Ice Nine - Don't worry - I wasn't offended or anything. Merely trying to be a bit humorous in my response. <_<

I wasn't attempting to claim that there were religious obligations that meant people couldn't come; I was just saying that it's a major religious holiday the next day and as such people generally spend the weekend with their families, not toy guns.

They aren't mutually exclusive, I suppose, but still; family comes before Nerf.

I might be there. I'm currently allowed to go to Chicago for a war only once a year. This looks like the perfect one to go to this year.

Date is changed to the weekend after B2B, or the 17th of April. Now, none of you have an excuse not to make it.

I'm back in as a maybe then. :D

Still all depends on how my wife's pregnancy is proceeding at the time. I'm really hoping I'll either be at this one or B2B though!

I'd love to say I'll make it, but I've said that before and never showed. You probably don't need to even put me down as maybe, but just keep it in the back of your mind that I may show up.
