This station always takes requests! You suggested, I listened. I present to you... Daikaiju! Mark 1.1! Now with 100% more basketball pumps and rearloading!


Mmm, Spalding. I sawed off the pump tube and glued this puppy on with a big wad of epoxy putty, a la Rork's Mega Missile Decrapified. The tank's full in 2.5 pumps, 3 if I feel like living dangerously.


A close-up of the rearloading hole. To prevent losing darts, I made this chute out of thin aluminum plate.


According to your mom, size matters. My blaster is four feet long. What about yours?

Now that is nice. I love the aluminum dart ramp. I can say from experince that this kind of setup is highly practical; Ben has a BBBB with a ball pump and a rear loading tek 10 turret, and any Southern nerfers who've gone up against it can attest to its effectiveness. The real beauty of a rearloading turret, as opposed to a RSCB clip or a ramrodded turret, is that you can load as you go, without ever compromising your ability to blast any rushers. Of course, there's also the little matter of having 20 fucking shots at your disposal...

My only quibble would be that the only Spalding pump I've tried to use was a piece of crap. If your tank is full in 3 pumps, yours would seem to be fine, but if it craps out on you, I'd go with a Franklin pump.

If I would attempt this mod, I would use the front handle of the gun to pump it, adding more use and taking less space(Maybe).

This thing is scary and I personaly can not wait to face it on the battlefield.
I would do this but I have yet to succesfully do a ball pump replacement or rearloading.
I haven't tried rearloading, but the ballpumps just one of those things that I can't get right...

Unfortunately, OMC's not stocked with PETG, so this thing's stuck in half-barreled limbo. If someone's willing to sell or trade ten feet, shoot me a PM.

There's definitely a lot of interest in those wings! I was planning on waiting til the springtime to add the wings and give it a paint job, but I could move my schedule around a bit. Keep your peepers peeled.

Very nice. I too would like to see the ball pump moved to the front though, then the pumping and barrel advancing would be more of one motion, rather than moving your hand back to pump, then forward to advance and aim.

Also, I'd recommend a larger reloading slot, for more than 1 dart at a time. Maybe even a 4-5 dart wide slot, so that you could fire a few shots in succession before reloading without getting empty barrels. It would also make it go a lot faster to load the 20 shot turret.

Very well done, the LSFG handle was a very nice addition, and it seemed to naturally adapt the pull of the trigger.

This gun is beautiful. I agree with Hipponater, in the sense that you could probably fit about 3 more rear-loading holes. Great job again.

I would pay good money for that except with 2 pumps and 2 tanks, your original mod but with a separate tank and pump going to the middle barrel (middle barrel couplered) PM me if you would like to negotiate a price.
